Bad anime : The animation, the writing, and just plain out bad.

If I create an hour of utter crap in Adobe Flash, a few people out there might think that it's better than Miyazaki. That would not make them right, though.

One complaint I'd level against CE Gundam is the lack of creativity in the battles/tech. In UC and 00, most MS are treated like machines. They're developed with specific mission roles and have other systems built in like the colony sealer sprays, the compressed air dummy launchers to confuse sensors and electronic lock pickers for stealth missions. CE just tenRAB to treat the MS like giant metal men to be thrown at any situation. A perfect example is Chaos, Gaia and Abyss. Three Gundams with specific mission roles in mind apparently but really just all sent out togethor to cause random chaos with flashing light shows and missile spam. They're then quickly killed off once it's time to promote the new batch of merchandise. I never really got the feeling that that was impressive. I was very glad that 00 gave most of the MS specific tech that was rarely used like hidden missile launchers and such. Tons better than dropping an ammo splooge with everything the MS has with no thought beyond 'This'll surely make the kiddies want it!!'

^^^Ive read the original manga of Mouse (still do). I dont think it was anything like Lupin III besides that the leaRAB are thieves, Lupin III is an adventure show, and Mouse is well.... a sex show, the master thief angle or premise means almost nothing, its just a dude with a harem of assistants/slaves that do whatever he wants... or what they think he wants (at least in the original manga anyway, dont know what the anime is like).

The Frieza saga was wonderful in the manga, but in the anime it is streched out to hell, over dramatized, adding unnecessary filler, and Freiza's voice in the american version is so damn annoying it makes me want to scream!
At least in GT its paced well, and I don't agree with you, the plot was not totally random. Another thing about GT is that it ended the series right, instead of Z"s ending which makes me frustrated. And Baby's plan made sense too, so again I don't agree with you.

Yeah, if 00 had done a machine like Chaos, it probably would have spent an episode or two in a transformed state before anyone even realized what it actually was. I like being tricked.

Destiny did have one creative use during the desert ZAFT campaign, where Shinn had to fly the individual Impulse parts inside a cave to surprise the enemy.

How? No really, how?
I don't hate DBGT, the that series can be much better than that.
At least in the Frieza saga, it kinda made since. It didn't felt like a random plot. It has some good points in that saga.
It talks about why Frieza is there, Who is he, how it effects the story. It got a reason. Not a good or great reason, but a reason that made since.

^Read some of the Lupin III manga's. About every chapter he sleeps or rape different ladys. Oddly, all the ladys have the same name.

I don't see mouse as bad-bad, I see it...Meh, it could have been better.

the pacing for GT was pretty good, but some of the fights had power up after incredible power up and it just got absurd. Not to mention that Goku and Baby were supposed to be incredibly powerful, but they don't take that much damage and yet they are inexplicably drained. Contrast that with Piccolo vs. Goku at the 23rd tournament. They don't get power ups. They used whatever power they have and it's very intense and physically draining. That's my single favorite fight in the entire DB saga. I actually think the most fitting ending was the episode where goku's late for the party at bulma's and the end is all of his frienRAB gathered around him. The message is simple, everything is just a little bit better with Son Goku around. The GT ending was the next best thing.

This just goes to show that DB had a lot of great things, but there was also a lot of missed opportunities.

db, dbz and dbgt have a lot of good ideas, but have flawed execution.

gt had some neat ideas, but just couldn't put it together properly and even the fights were terrible. I like Baby as a villain, and i thought it was interesting to have the overused Dragon Balls be a major plot point. I think it was fitting that they be the final villains. It kinda brought things full circle.

At first, I thought that was a nice idea too. But how it was done...
If you want a DB series that the theme is about the Dragonball's. Just watch and or read Dragonball.

True, it wouldn't make that person objectively wrong to like something, but there IS factually bad animation. Like when the character models fluctuate all over the place due to not following the model sheet, or the animation being choppy with disconnected movements (thanks to not having the budget to draw in-betweens- see Marine Boy for a truly shocking example of this) or lumpy (unnecessary movement that just makes the character waver as they move around).

Ahh sorry, It was Gundam Seed Destiny that Was the bad one (Sorry I get those 2 mixed up sometime)

Also SD GUNDAM was indeed a good show (in its own rite)

Also Agree with Mouse I watched it at my frienRAB house once. I didn't like it. Lots of Lupin Ripping off & reeally the girls are very very one dimensional (In my openion)

Another show I watched with my friend last Summer: Girls Bravo. Just so cliche, so poorly written, there were a few good & funny moments. But for the most part, just a Bad show!

As fot School Rurable, I disagree, it was an OK show, not that good not that bad, just in the middle.

I love Dragonball Z from clips and summaries. Actually watching in its entirety is...guh *heart failure*

I'm all about pacing. With the Freiza arc alone, I can watch Gurren Lagann and Evangelion back to back and they're still on Namek. It's slow even on a shounen level.

So I can understand liking GT to the Freiza arc in that respect. You'll be done with that series long before Goku beats a boss in DBZ.

That's assuming, though, that all opinions are equal, which they're not.

"All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others."
-Douglas Adams
