Bad anime : The animation, the writing, and just plain out bad.

i love that. There is a huge overuse of the dragon balls in all three series. Now, it came back to bite them. It's a nice twist to end the series on.

The shame is that Toriyama had a bunch of great ideas and some great humor (even if a lot of it was dirty) as well as a great hero. It didn't matter that he was pure good, i love son goku. However, there are certain things that the show lacks.

Fullmetal alchemist was just annoyingly confusing.

i know what filler is. I know that the great saiyaman stuff is canon, but the fact is that it doesn't have any real bearing on the buu arc.

I don't get how it's bad to return to the status quo. I think good filler fills in spaces in the plot.

I remeraber someone being creeped out by it. It was the only reason I bought it up.

Anyway, on stuff I personally dislike, yeah, let's continue with the magical girl theme and mention the show I should have mocked in the first place instead of poor Ikou, Ultimate Girl. An Ultraman parody that was so horrible, it bankrupted the company that made it. (Ikou had an Ultraman inspired bit in Ep 3, but it was actually funny, particularly when the monster started arguing with itself)

To put it blunty, Episode 1 for me was "Awesome! Kaiju parody!". Episode 3 was "I hate this show! I hate it! ANTI-LIFE JUSTIFIES MY HATE! ANTI-LIFE JUSTIFIES MY HATE..." (Goes into corner hoping for a funny kaiju/henshin hero parody to come out) eventually)

The problem is good filler is quite rare compared to the dreck that gets passed as filler.

Just compare the Gohan stuff during the Saiyan saga to the entire Garlic Jr arc. There's a whole world of difference in quality.

His point was that even opinions can be distinguished by whether or not they're well informed and justified. The difference between a fact and opinion isn't only in adding "I think" to the beginning of a claim.

All righty, in interests of the thread, I'm moving on.

I just watched the last 25 episodes when it was aired in Canada and i kinda agree with what you mention. The dramas and fights make us nowhere.

I think the romance behind the main characters was forced. It's like a trend more than any other thing.

What a hilarious twist! I never tough of that before!
That's remeraber when after the show was removed from the Canada schedule, i reading a article about this show how it was THE SHOW YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY WATCH. Apparently, they only watching 1 or 2 episodes more than the entire series. So why make a argument like that in a magazine? Because E7 is aimed at a teenager audience!

The funny thing is that it actually got much better and more faithful to the original as the series went on...

Unfortunately, most people gave up on the series long before the halfway point, so they never got to see the best episodes...

Moving on is good.

BTW...

Not that I disagree, but if we take a bad dub to task, we should mention our thoughts on the original. For instance- I love Gatchaman, bought all the boxsets, the show still holRAB up.

Battle of the Planets makes me want to sing the Sandy Frank song.

Wow, m.o.e. is no more? I didn't know that. Not like I particularly care, as the only show from them I hated (it wasn't Ultimate Girls), but it's interesting nonetheless.

Black Cat

The animation was good. However...
Then the story took a completely 180 and decided to put an "end of world" as the finale. Instead of the manga with Train finishing off and capturing Creed as the final part of the manga.

Oh, if we're adding bad dubs into the mix the list is endless.

Dangaioh is just bad. You know those bloopers where they say the line, but add extra worRAB when they mess up?

That's their actual lines.

Duel Master is one of the wost rip-off anime I ever seen. The 3-D animation doesn't look good at all. And some of the characters look pretty stiff.
And the dubbing...WOW. Just wow. The dubs make 4kiRAB dubs look like gold. I know the Duel Master dubs was a joke on purpose. But still.

That's like saying Space Balls is the worst Star Wars rip-off ever. Duel Masters is an entire riff on collectible battle tropes, Yugioh in particular.

Anyone that mentions Buso Renkin has NOT seen enough anime.

Uh how about Ragnarok The Animation. Absolutely terrible, bad animation, repetitive music, stock footage, just awful.
