Pokemon Movie 13- Ho-oh Vs. Lugia?

True, but this would mean that Raikou is the only legendary that Ash hasn't personally met (Raikou only appeared to his G/S/C counterpart).

Though, this idea actually makes me a bit annoyed, because I was hoping they'd save an encounter with Ho-oh until the finale. After all, meeting it now after 11 years of build-up and the quest just simply continuing like nothing happened afterward will feel extremely anticlimactic.

Not good enough. He was there to fight off Dialga and Palkia so he wouldn't have time to destroy the world or get beef with Arceus.

If you think about it deep enough, he is technically like Satan. He was a good Pokemon and on Arceus' side before it was banish to the Distortion World for his violent behavior, much like what happened with Satan in the bible. There is a reason as to why he's called the Renegade Pokemon in it's description.

That and notice how in both his Origin Forme, and Altered Forme he has 3 sets of 6 on his design. Altered Fome has 6 half gold rings on it's chest, 6 legs, and his wings have 6 red spikes on it total. Origin Forme has 6 spikes where it legs were, still has the half gold rings from Altered Forme, and 6 streamers that hold those spikes.

The huge problem with that reasoning right there is that your looking thru this from the eyes of a 20 something year old. Of course your tired of it, I would hope that you would be but to a 9-14 year old, they dont care. They love Pikachu, they love collecting more and more pokemon and Im pretty sure the idea of Lugia and Ho-oh battling it out proally has all there underoos in a twist..

Pikachu can still stick around but I want to know if some of the fans would be ready for a change. Sure some people might like him but I'm betting that some people would like another Pokemon to have some fun in battles but I still see Pikachu as the fun-crusher since most times we can have another Pokemon take down Team Rocket yet here comes Pikachu to save the day...again.

I would like to see what happens to Pachirisu but I don't know what its evolution line would look like.

Give a Pikachu to the new female character next gen, problem solved.

It doesn't specifically have to be "Ash's Pikachu," it's Pikachu in general. If Pikachu has to be in the series, shake it up and give a new one to the next female.

From playing Pokemon Platinum, Cynthia theories as to why Giratina isn't referenced that much in Sinnoh Myths as much as Dialga, Palkia and the lake trio, and a chat that Jake and I got into a few days ago. I know it might be speculation on both Jake's and my part, but really after all that time, it does make sense.

That's very insightful. You're explanation does make a lot of sense. Plus it does fit well with the other legendaries with this generation (Time, Space, and God, and Satan).

Hmmm.. I don't think so Tim. Where would the Pikachu come from? Since it's only native to Kanto if you think about it in game locations in the other games. Unless the girl comes from Kanto itself, which I doubt will happen since I think she'll come from whatever the 5th gen area is called, don't count on it.

But the only difference is that the Pikachu in that case won't be the same. The Pikachu that you seen is different from other Pikachu, it doesn't want to evolve, cares about the other Pokemon around it and tries to befriend him. What would this other Pikachu do anyway?

The thing is...even if Arceus and Giratina were supposed to represent God and the Devil, it wouldn't matter because Japanese people don't really care about that kind of thing. To most of the people I've met in Japan, they just see "God" and "the Devil" as being characters of a story the same way characters like Spider-Man or Son Goku are.

They wouldn't feel any need to "trump" them in a future generation because having a "God" pokemon and a "Devil" pokemon wouldn't be a big deal at all.

It could just be a remake of the series but this time, you have a female as the lead. Plus Pikachu should be thrown in the other regions so that way we won;t have to worry about it just coming from Kanto. If Pikachu had to be different, he/she could be one who wouldn't mind evolving.

Raikou is in the movie, celebi sees the three legendary beasts fighting in the future and tries to stop it, meanwhile ash meets his darker side btw its called phantom ruler z or phantom champion z or phantom master z but its name will change when it comes to the US

That's the story from the trailer, but I doubt that they would give away the synopsis for this movie so soon. Or at least there's much more to it than just that. As for Ash's "darker side", we don't know if it is this Phantom Ruler Z or not. For all we know, that darker Ash won't even appear in this movie and was just put there for the teaser trailer. I'm personally leading towarRAB that idea myself. That's happened in a lot of the trailers for the Pokemon movie where a scene appears in a trailer, but is never actually in the movie.

Serebii did mention this poster with some of the Pokemon featured in this movie, like Celebi, the legendary dogs/beasts, Pikachu, Piplup and two question marks. I think that there's also going to be some information about the movie in this month's Coro Coro and even Pokemon Sunday will be announcing something in their Game Area, I believe it's called that, on the 17th. Personally, I'm hoping that at least one of these question marks is a fifth generation Pokemon. I don't mind new forms of older Pokemon, but I think we've had enough of those in this generation. Plus, it would finally let people know that there is a new generation coming, though the sales for Platinum and HeartGold and SoulSilver alone should prove that. Still, it would be nice to see a new Pokemon again.
