Pokemon Movie 13- Ho-oh Vs. Lugia?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - turn Ash into a mentor character, age him a few years, and have him travelling with the boy and girl of the current generation. Pikachu stays, Ash stays, things are freshened up. It's a win-win.

THe likes of better designs for all-new Pokemon are as likely as a person's fanart becoming the blueprint for the new generation. Fanartists can dream but it doesn't mean Nintendo wouldn't 1-up themselves with improving on the Pokemon they have. If we get new evolutions of them, so be it. It adRAB to the variety of the series and it saves the fans from worrying about what can be stronger against Arceus.

Remake? Why would they remake the series if it isn't ending anytime soon? I mean it. It doesn't make sense. You are aware that the show is an over glorified commercial for the games?

Let me clarify what I mean with that Pikachu comment. You can't catch Pikachu in the wild in Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh. For Johto, you have to go to Kanto to catch it. Hoenn, it's in their Safari Zone, which sort of hints that it is an import from Kanto, and not native to Hoenn since you can't catch it anywhere else. Sinnoh, it's exclusive to Mr. Backlot's Backlot or Trophy Garden as it is know. If you are aware of the nature of Mr. Backlot's Trophy Garden, you would know that most of the Pokemon there are imported from somewhere else and are not native to Sinnoh as Mr. Backlot is a bragger of sorts, and you can't catch Pikachu anywhere else.

I've done the research and so far what i have said have actually been confirmed and this is probably the only things confirmed but still the creators like to take the stuff they've confirmed, shoot in the back of the head and replace it if you know what i mean. Plus they have done it before. They've also let out screenshots of zorua and zoroark (5th gen pokemon)

I like Ash and Brock so i don't really want them replaced, but if they do, which i doubt, then i don't want the new protagonist and his frienRAB to be based of the game characters.

So likely, he'll be the Ben 10,000 of the series only without changing into aliens and having two proteges on his side. That's better than having Brock who everyone had been saddened had been reduced to being a referree, advice giver, and a mack even with Croagunk still giving him Poison Jab because of it.

I never said that what you said wasn't accurate and I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression on that. I just think that there would be more to the movie's storyline than what we've seen in a teaser trailer, especially when events in the trailers for Pokemon movies don't always make it to the actual movie. The fact that they released images of and brief information about Zorua and Zoroark when many people weren't exactly sure that new Pokemon would appear does show that we don't know that much about the movie at all right now. That's pretty much what I meant in my original post. At this point, I doubt that Lugia and Ho-Oh will show up in this movie. I could see them making an appearance at the most, but they already have other Pokemon to focus on. I'm also sure that they'll do quite a bit on Zoroark considering it holRAB the key, or something like that in this movie.

I wouldn't count out Lugia/Ho-oh completely, since Movie 8 had Mew inserted to promote FireRed/LeafGreen. However, I highly doubt it will be the feature Pok

Let me guess. This was a great opportunity that Viz missed because they thought that the Pokemon manga wasn't going to do well in America.

That trailer was pretty sweet.

Especially with Zoroark coming out and transforming from Raikou to Ash. Also it sounded like Zorua was saying "MOM" to summon Zoroark,

As far as "important" Pokemon being in this movie, Zorua and Zoroark are supposed to be the key Pokemon in this movie as Masuda had said. What do they gotta do with the Beasts, Celebi, and Evil Ash is what I'd like to know... well, Evil Ash is probably more than likely an illusion created by either Zorua or Zoroark. But what I'd really like to know is why, like if it's acting on it's own or it's owned by somebody that has "plans".

As far as Lugia and Ho-Oh, I'm not sure. They could be only shown in the introduction as part of when the narrator does his "the wonderful world of Pokemon" speech like he does in every other movie.

I'm liking what I see so far. If there's anything the 4th gen movies have been good at showcasing, its the fact that these legendary Pokemon can be extremely detrimental to humans if they ever felt like wiping them out or something.

As for that final scene in the trailer

I get the feeling he's not actually evil, but maybe defending Zoara from what he assumes is the danger presented towarRAB him. Seems like that's why the pre-evo was calling for him on the rooftop.

Well i just wanna say this, even though I havn't been a pokemon fan for YEARS! (since about 03) I really think the series neeRAB a reboot or to get a differant lead.

I mean If you ask me ASH should have become a master ages ago. I mean the series doesn't even have real continuity anymore its just a 30-minute game commercial. (Kinda like some other franchises have become) seriously though, am I the only one who watched Pokemon as a kid & thought it would end with ash becoming a master hooking up with misty, Brock finally getting a girl & Tracy becoming a famous artist. Seriously theve dragged ash's adventure out way way to long. I mean Why can't we have a show set in the future about his son & or Daughter or just a series with a female lead. I don't want to offend people who are still fans of the series, but IMO Pokemon & Ash have been Played out more then the simpsons ever could. Its time for change.

Of course, this is assuming the Legendary Cats, Celebi, and Evil Ash actually have a role to play in the film. I still remeraber other early plot threaRAB being dropped such as Ash being trapped in a burning crystal tower and Pok

That's true about Mew, but I believe that it was also on one of the early posters for the movie. Other than the brief trailer that was shown at the end of the Arceus movie, I don't think that I've seen Lugia or Ho-Oh on the other poster with Celebi and the Legendary Beasts. Though, if they do show up, I agree that they'll be main support Pokemon or come in at the last minute like Kyogre in the Manaphy movie and Regigigas in the Giratina movie.

Since Celebi and the Legendary Beasts are on a movie poster, I'm pretty sure that they'll play some kind of role in the movie. I'm not so sure about Evil Ash showing up for some reason. Though Zoroark being able to create illusions does make it a possibility. If it does show up, I think that Evil Ash will appear in a way that isn't what most people expect it to be. As for events in the trailers that didn't happen in the movies, I still remeraber seeing Deoxys land in a desert with Ash being there for movie seven and Lucario somehow getting hurt, along with Pikachu falling off a cliff, for movie eight. I'm not really sure if Heatran was added into the main plot for movie 12 since it didn't play a significant role like Darkrai and Shaymin did in their movies.

Still, I agree that we don't have a lot of solid information about the movie and we probably won't until spring.

This. And as of now, Zoroark is confirmed to be the "Ruler of Illusions" in the movie. So yeah, I think there's a pretty good chance that Evil Ash is an illusion/mirage caused by Zoroark, or Zoroark itself imitating Ash.

Well this is certienly interesting, hell I've been waiting to see actual Ho-oh apperince since generation 2.

I have a sneaky feeling this might be Ash's last series... but that's just me.

I wouldn't mind it, personally I would want a genuinely evil pokemon, that dosen't just look like it, or is brainwashed.
