stop and identify, which he then used reasonable suspicion to frisk. I dunno where you are going with that?

You mean like YOU did on this classic thread ... where you made a stupid comment on page 1, then got totally fucking owned (like on this thread) by facts, then didn't show your embarrassed face until page 3, hours later?

AZ boycotts have cost the financially ailing state $90 million already

If you are required to provide anything, if you are required to stop and answer questions, if you are not free to say "piss off" and walk away, then you are being detained. Reasonable suspicion is the standard to detain somebody. I am not confusing it with probable cause.

Whether he's carrying ID or not, whether he's black or brown or red or white or green, is irrelevant. If the cop has reasonable suspicion that he is involved in a crime, then the cop can detain him.

It's probably written in the literature of his employment packet. It's not politically expedient for the opponents of this new law to present all of the facts.

Calling out yet ANOTHER @%^&%$! Is it soooooo hard to comprehend that the issue ISN'T ABOUT BEING AN AMERICAN CITIZEN! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CITIZEN OF AMERICA TO LEGALLY LIVE AND WQRK IN AMERICA!$@#@%^&&%
P.S. You get the brunt as everyone reads your trolls
MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, SOME OF YOU CAN USE THE CORRECT TERMINOLOGY TO MAKE A POINT INSTEAD OF SOUNDING LIKE THE ILLITERATE ^%(*%& YOU APPEAR TO BE!
that is all

Considering the thread is about an AZ commercial truck driver who is required to show ID at a weigh station, your argument about "To them, there is no difference when you are pulled over in a car vs. when you are stopped on the street" is a moot point.

are you retarded?

Under no circumstance are you required to carry ID in a free country when not exercising a privilege.

So much backfire ownage today is pathetic, I think the TS needs a break and some fresh air

They aren't you dumb fuck! HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of miles have been driven through AZ by truckers, and only the ones who do not have proper documentation as a CDL holder (who may have been transporting a dangerous load) for the 70+ years that the FEDERAL LAW has been in effect, and this guy didn't have it.

Personally, I think his CDL should be revoked for not providing that proper documentation. If he can't abide by the rules for being granted a CDL, then he shouldn't have one ... just like if you can't abide by the rules of a Class C drivers license, you should lose that too.

Or do you think that "Living in a free country" mean you can ignore red lights and stop signs and that by not allowing people to blow through them, means you now live in 1940s Nazi Germany?
