Would I lie to you (merged)

She's one of the reasons I've watched "Love Actually" so many times. If you've not seen it, Martin Freeman gets to do some VERY pleasant "work" with Joanna!

Of course, everyone does..in my opinion. My tales are always embellished for comic/dramatic effect..if my wife's with me I have to avoid eye contact. :)
I think it's fair game, as long as the basics are true. The horse story probably didn't occur precisely as it was told, but it was near enough true..and made totally hilarious by the additional embellishments.

Was anyone else watching tonight?

We were practically crying with laughter over David's 'special' dressing gown and his interrogation and rant about Lee and the chimpanzee.

Brilliant episode last night, Martin Clunes was on top form, as was Lee Mack, and David Mitchell's usual rant was great :D

Rob Brydon's Michael Caine and Ronnie Corbett impressions were good, probably no need for the others.

Strong start to the series.

Yes, of course. I couldn't remember them cutting out a guest so he's just sitting there all through the show, so I wondered if I'd dozed off!

Kat and I have just watched this on sky plus, my ribs are still hurting from the horse story, we were both crying and Kevin definitely deserved the individual liar of the week accolade!! Also loved Keeley's tennis story, trying to impress a man!! and pretending to cook as well!! Always liked her now like her even more!!:p

That was hilarious. From the now infamous show with the Kevin Bridges horse rental story. How great it must have been to be in the audience for that one.

I agree with other posters that this neeRAB a 45 min repeat for the next series.

Another good episode tonight. I think that last week's episode was probably the poorest of the series and even that was entertaining. They've done a good job on all episode. I wish they saved the Kevin Bridges episode for last.

Fantastic episode, I think Lee & david have been on good form this year, to the point that when they go off at ech other you can never quite tell if they're genuinely sniping at each other or just playing the game.

It's a great programme, but as has been mentioned before I wish they'd be an uncut version like there is with HIGNFY.

I also enjoyed it tonight and thought they were all good, and as for Bianca getting Wellard drunk on vodka :D and John Bishop made me laugh about the vacuum cleaner selling job he had...I knew it was true as he told the story when I saw him in Edinburgh! :D :D
