The Mentalist (Merged)

In the 'Seeing red' episode, can someone tell me if the Psychic was involved in the murder of the woman. I cant seem to remember the ending and forgot to watch the repeat.

Thanks

Anything's possible. I wonder if even the writers know who RJ is. They could just be making it up as they go along. It wouldn't surprise me.

Great episode on Friday

I was liking the character of Bosco and was shocked he was killed off.
I like the Red John story so glad to see him back

Really? Can't say I've noticed anyone all that famous in recent weeks, but then I don't watch shows like DH. Malcolm McDowell is in next week's episode, so I'll have to test your theory. ;)

Very similar premise to The Mentalist isn't it? Witty guy tagging along with smart female detective to solve crimes. I really like Castle too, but The Mentalist has the edge for me. :)

I enjoyed the pilot episode more than most, but I thought the second episode was a bit weak. I'll certainly watch a few more episodes but I'm not certain it'll be indespensible viewing.

Teri Bauer? :D No, she wasn't involved.

At the end, she took Patrick aside and told him that she'd been 'in contact' and discovered that his daughter didn't suffer, and that she never woke up during the attack. He remained stoic until she'd left the room, and then he burst into tears (quite realistically, actually).

That's what i thought. Might as well see if it's any good rather than grudging it because it has pushed back one of my favourite programmes.

I really like this show :).

I like all the characters but there is something special about Patrick Jane. I think what makes him so interesting to me is that he goes against the usual grain of the

I have to admit that I wasn't particularly impressed with her the first season. But I think that at first her character was a little one dimensional which didn't give Robin much opportunity to flex her acting muscles. In Season 2 her character is being developed more which is giving her a chance to shine.

Surely you mean Bradley Walsh in Law and Order: UK - as he drives that show.

As for The Mentalist, it does get better after the pilot.

For those who missed it there are repeats on Five USA
Saturday and Monday.

More like D-listers - people who were the sidekick in a series five years ago and done nothing since type of people - the sort that regularly also turn up as the murderer on one of the CSI franchises.

Yeah, similar premise. I prefer Castle because in the Mentalist Jane seems to solve all the crimes - the others just tag along and get the evidence to prove his solution - but I watch both
