Whoa. This show took me completely by surprised. I expected something similar to a typical shonen by just looking at the animation but wow I never expected this. Shu getting his ass kick by Hamdo was disturbing. Not to mention the way he kills the cat and later throws him around was also disturbing. Funny if it was by the opening credits I wouldn't have known Dan Green was voicing Nabuca. His voice sounded so different from what I have previously heard him. I wish he use Nabuca' voice for Knuckles . Anyway the premise sound very interesting. Look like besides Gurren Laggan Ani-Monday has another hit.

Hamdo is like every child's worst nightmare. I'm so glad to see that people are showing interest in this show. Sadly I couldn't finish the second episode due to some health problems last night ;_;
but lucky for me I taped it XD
It's hard to get used to the old style of animation, but I think it fits the type of show this is. It works for it and doesn't seem outdated.
 
They edited the scene slightly... I was expecting it too... Part of the scene was for time, but there was certainly part of it that was for content. (You actually see the guys pants slide down.)

But yeah. Gruesome.
 
At first it kinda reminded me of Laputa, what with various military organizations chasing after a girl because of her necklace and the main boy making impossibly wide jumps. But then it got... you know... cringe-worthy.

Poor kitty.
 
As for the women, no one over 15 please.

Shu for once should kept his mouth shut and go with the flow and plot something instead of so directy with his feelings.

Just now saw the 2 ep's tonight. Was over a few minutes ago for my timezone. Wow the 1st one was quite grueling, with the king just trying to kill that one assain shooting him like a half dozen times even though he was already dead, sheesh. I do not like that guy at all. Especially how he was basically almost torturing poor lalaru like 2 or 3 eps ago if i remeraber correctly.

Honestly im on shu's side in my opinion that what everyone's doing is just WRONG being forced to kill, or not.

I felt bad for sara how scared she was, and crying. I do not understand why she cut her hair mostly though.

I'm really glad to see lalaru finally spoke worRAB for the first time in the series, i was getting worried she'd never speak a word this entire series period. I'm interested in her more than anyone else for some reason even though she hadn't spoke until now finally.

But thigns seem to be getting real intense now. This show still holding my intrest 100%. Can't wait until next monday's next 2 episodes to see what happens.
 
This is very hard for me to watch, and yet I can't stop. I've never seen such a powerful and depressing show. Everytime Shu scores a victory for his own beliefs (cheering up Sara, rescuing the children, etc.), reality comes back and rips him a new one. I wonder if Sara really has seen the last of Hando's lair...?
Nabuca seems to be weakening a little, though. Even Boo can't bring himself to shoot anyone as far as I know.
I wonder when this Sis character is supposed to show up.
I'm hoping Hando suffers too, and maybe Tabool and Abelia to a lesser extent.
