Gah, blasphemy. When it comes to that there's animation and then there's art, man. To use another somewhat unfair example given the huge budget, there are also Miyazaki films to consider, and there's Escaflowne for another more common example (both the TV series and movie).

Digital has improved a lot in recent years, fortunately. Honestly, Gundam Seed was one of the earlier cases and it looks pretty mediocre compared to a lot the digital animation that comes out these days.

Pretty much at this point in the series (since there's just one more episode to go), it's not a question of "Who's gonna die?" but "Who's gonna be left living?", instead. My guess? Shu's stick.
