"Now and Then, Here and There" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *SPOILERS*

im glad i tuned in last night. And seeing from the beginning. Never have heard of this anime ever before, so this is a first time for me. but somehow i just instantly became interested when that blue haired girl was introduced sitting on that smoke stack.

Kinda wish she would have really talked these 2 eps, cause i haven't heard a single word. But im sure she will soon probably im guessing.

For those wanting to know, here's some of the information that has been confirmed for Ani-Monday (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2008-07-14/sci-fi-channel-and-manga-entertainment-add-new-anime-programming-as&lsquo-ani-monday&rsquo-block-is-renewed-for-a-second-season). Those with dates listed come from the Sci Fi schedule:

Negadon: The Monster From Mars airs Septeraber 22 in the late night spot after NTHT's final episode.
MD Geist airs Septeraber 29 taking up the NTHT spot
Strait Jacket airs in October.
Descendants of Darkness (13 episodes) takes over NTHT spot after MD Geist enRAB in October
Gundam 00 takes over Gurren Lagann's spot in Noveraber (originally scheduled for October, but the Ani-Monday movie weeks have pushed it back)

It would be a ways in the future, but could you imagine what would happen if Ani-Monday managed to steal the new FMA series that was confirmed yesterday (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-08-20/new-fullmetal-alchemist-tv-anime-series-confirmed) over [adult swim]?

I tried to watch this show when it was on international channel/azn, I got as far as the two episodes that aired yesterday, and after seeing them again... yeah, I don't think I can ever finish watching this series. The child abuse is just too much.

Has anyone noticed that the light blue haired girls have specials abilities that is the key to the shape of the world, the girl in this show, is similar to Eureka and to a lesser extint Nia. And didn't the villian look kind of like Hitler?

I am surprised this series is only 13 episodes. I wonder how many different shows will air in the 12 - 1 am timeslot during Monster's run, because that series is 74 episodes.

Yeah, and with a Moe Howard bowlcut according to some posters here, though to me it does syrabolize the disturbing mix of hellish dictator with some (not-very-comical-given-the-context) wackiness.

The music fits the scenes so well. In fact, I think the score here launched the composer's career essentially.

The dub's incredible and puts familar people in roles they normally don't get cast in. I would not have been able to tell that Tabool was voiced by Crispin Freeman if it weren't for a slight slip in episode 3, since Tabool's voice is so different than the typical Freeman voice. I was also flabbergasted at listening to Kayzie Rogers' Sara, who, despite sounding like a mother (haha) expresses all of Sara's myraid emotions extremely well (contrasted to her emotionless 4kiRAB Vivi). Wow, just wow.

Part of me hates Shu for not giving in and another part of me likes him for refusing to compromise his principles.

Wow, Hamdo has a garden full of flowers, yet he hates them with a passion. Wow.

00 has already been confirmed for an hour, but it isn't on Sci-Fi. It is on Sci Fi. There is no dash in the logo, despite what people keep posting. Sci-Fi refers to the book genre, not the name of the network. You can see this when you look at the logo in the talkback image:
