Don't get me wrong, I didn't like him, but he has a degree in economics and turned the huge Mass deficit into a surplus while he was govenor.

On social issues, yeah, believe me, I probably despise him more than you, and Im not saying he's a good candadite. All Im saying is that strictly economically, from what I've heard (and theres always someone thats heard more no matter who you are-thats why I rarely get in political arguments) he'd be able to handle the economy better than McCain and Obama.

But by all means, he's still a terrible candadite, I agree with you there.

C'mon now. It's not all bad.

Where I live in Tennessee most of the radio stations we pick up come from Memphis and Jackson, Jackson in particular has a great jazz station.

The worst for me is classic rock radio, not because of the music (that would go to adult contemporary) though the format nowadays is pretty much just "Foreigner, Bob Seger, Skynyrd, repeat" but because of the DJs.

Airheaded neo-conservative southern boys making stupid and sometimes racist political remarks and answering calls from their likeminded middle aged listeners, not realising the irony in having just played Neil Young and The Clash.
 
Rage was the first band that I ever really noticed how well produced they were... the political BS aside, their overall sound was very unique.

one can also argue they were trying to reach that other audience that was more attracted to the higher end production, who will then listen to what they had to say... making it more of a tactic then a contradiction.
 
Hey!! Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac were awesome. You need to specify that for the greenhorns. Elo's album Time is a masterpiece. Boston's first album is great, everything else they did sucked. Foreigner had one good song (Blue Morning Blue Day) Styx had 3 good songs. Journey...yeah, they sucked. Although Wings had plenty of suckage songs they had quite a few good ones.
 
Do you really need to go everywhere and ask people that to understand that a style of music that has earned platinum recorRAB for a boatload of artists is the definition of "mainstream"?
