An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

He is my favorite artist, and I've been fortunate enough to meet him twice(helluva nice guy), but my "fandom" enRAB there. I dont give a **** if he wears Prada/gucci or anything else, I like his music. I do think he's underrated as a songwriter, and a few of his discs are very underrated as well(Bona Drag/Vauxhall and I come to mind), and I think anything past VH&I has been a sorta step down for him musically, but i still like him.

I'm completely straight, and have no desire to sleep with him, I do think he's cool, and is a very good/underrated singer.

But, I do know, and see what you mean. Some folks go a little too overboard about him, thats their gig though.

My opinion is...I feel the same way in a sense about Radiohead, Coldplay and Tool, as you do about Morrissey. I've had to sit through many nights listening to their *ahem* music, and to this day: I dont "get it". I'm sure they're fabulous musicians, and im sure they're the best band on the planet...blah blah ****ing blah, but i just dont like any of them.

As for The Smiths: very underrated band in my opinion. Best of the '80s? I wouldnt go that far(and im a huge Morrissey/Smiths fan).

60 : THAT THING

We get it , you like pies. Now put some clothes on , take your indie disco shite and fuck off you fucking ugly moose.

Oh wait it's not 2007
You already did.

The Beatles have some okay songs but they really are overrated. And it's annoying that people get so damn indignant if you don't think they're the greatest band ever in the history of music.

its tough to say which album i prefer, but i can honestly say i am extremely surprised that there was no entry dedicated to radiohead or radiohead fans

So if I'm in a nazi punk band it should be ok if I want to post a Claude Monet painting I really like? Even if it's a disgustingly inappropiate album cover? Talk about self indulgence.

I'm a big fan of album cover artists like Dean and Thurgison. I think album covers should be taken seriously as an extention of the music on the album, as well as being a presentation. It should not be misleading or some durab joke, thats insulting to me as a musicgoer.

That was a scenario I described, didn't actually happen, being a Yes and Steve Howe fan I know damn well who Asia is and I sure as hell know better than to buy an Asia album.

This thread is brilliant. Picking a favorite post is like trying to pick my favorite song from Who's Next, but if I had to, it would be this one. Grunge annoys me far more than other genres simply because it should be good.
