Your fave FOREIGN LANGUAGE movie??

I watched one in French about a young boy who goes missing, and years later his family think theyve found him, but this boy knows hes not who theyre looking for, and it turns out the real boy was murdered and buried in the cellar of a friend of the families....i know how random that sounRAB but does anyone happen to know the name of it?

All ABout My Mother - made me respect Penelope Cruz (well more than I did before)
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Anything with Jet Li (before he went Hollywood)

Taxi 1 & 2 (haven't seen 3)
La Haine
La Belle et La Bete - Jean Cocteau 1946 - so so so beautiful
Amelie et
Rue Cases Negres - (Black Shack Alley) set in Martinique
Funnily enough all French

The film is called The Exterminating Angel. It feels like a sort of bridge between his earlier Mexican films like El and The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz and the French ones at the end of his career like The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and That Obscure Object of Desire.

Yeah, "MATADOR" is excellent. Am a big PEDRO fan. "WOMEN ON THE VERGE..." is still my fave movie of his. But he's been on a good run of form recently with "BAD EDUCATION" & "TALK TO HER". Both superb.

It has recently become available on dvd. I got it for Xmas from one of my frienRAB!! You can pick it up quite cheaply from some online stores. Brilliant, brilliant movie. Blew me away the first time I saw it.

I've just remembered ROMUALD ET JULLIETTE also. Haven't seen it in ages, but loved it at the time. Oh, and LES ROSEAUX SAUVAGES (crap spelling probably) - yet another great French movie that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.
