if you don't like them drilling for Oil, stop buyin the shit, they are only drilling for Oil because of the extremely high demand for it..

but if they keep on killing off natural resources, it wont be long before this extreme high demand dies to.
 
shit is horrible and all the pictures make me , but I can't get past this one. am I the only one who saw a lolface?
 
Pretty much. Why else would we be undertaking such a dangerous drilling operation when we could be doing the same thing on solid land?

Before you say $, remember that it would cost significantly less money to drill onshore.

It'd get dumped all over the coast, what marsh we wouldn't lose to erosion fromt he storm we'd lose later from a lack of living marsh grass, etc.

a lot would also be buried along the coast, make a contaminated layer that'd be only a few feet down. that'd have some very lasting consequences as well in inland waterways/estuaries
 
We could have prevented it if the government agency hadn't approved BP's plan to displace the mud before the plug was in place to cut costs and save time.

Extra regulations won't mean dick as long as we have poor enforcement across the board.
