Clunes was a joy in ep 1, a real English treasure!

Peter Serafinowicz is always great on these shows. Was very good again. Jack Dee was also very good, Manford seems lost when surrounded by any comedians.

But its Lee and David that make the show. Love the bickering between them, perfect.

Great show, but I was hoping for a replay of David's rant about dropping the sausage from Blackpool Tower, which was highlight of the series for me. :D

Does anyone know if/when this is coming back?

Have to admit, although he was largely absent, Serafinowicz's glasses reveal was one of the genuinely funniest things i've ever seen. I wasn't expecting that little one.

Ruth Jones' tortoise story was brilliant! Lee's comments were funny about thinking of a name beginning with 'T' and the poster & conveyer belt scenario.

Don't know who Peter S is but props to him for telling David Mitchell to calm down! lol

Of course - it's like any fishing story. The absolute (and sometimes boring) truth is exaggerated when any of us tells a story for the sake of entertainment.

Really funny tonight...Peter Serafinowicz's Terry Wogan at the end was flawless!

Glad we got to see Brian Cox's home truth and I think it goes to show that it really neeRAB an extended edition like QI and Have I Got News for You, as even the bits they left out were hilarious. I'm glad they've got rid of the 'Related Fact' round from the main show, as that was the only part I didn't find that funny.

Yeh the thing I liked best about Keeley Hawes was that she is not a comedienne and just kept quiet for majority of time and laughed, rather than being desperate to shoehorn in a gag. And then when she was asked something directly she always delivered an amusing line along with it. don't watch any of the programmes she's in but i liked her on this, classy.

It was in a 9pm slot for it's second series and the ratings weren't very good.

I was surprised it got a thrid series, but putting it out @ 10:35pm on a Monday seems to have turned it into cult viewing. And I wouldn't call it a 'death slot' - we don't all go to bed a 10:30pm.

Personally, I feel the format of the show neeRAB to be structured better, especially if they're going to be keeping the scores as closely as they do.

I thought last nights episode was excellent and the Ronnie Corbett story about what his aunt bought him did make me LOL.

I just wish they'd kept the Kevin Bridges episode til the end of the run as I keep comparing the other episodes to that one.

Hilarious last Friday. The horse story was a classic, and judging by a couple of edits I noticed, could have filled the whole show!
