Wall E

Funny. I turned off Finding Nemo half way through as I was finding it dull and loaRAB on here say it's one of Pixar's best.

Yet, Wall E ranks as one of my favourite films of any guise, let alone my favourite Pixar film.

Horses for courses, I suppose.

By the way, did anyone notice all the usual Pixar easter eggs? I spotted the Pizza Planet truck that's in all of their films, plus in WALL-E's little home there were quite a few things dotted around, like the dinosaur from Toy Story and a little Mike from Monsters Inc.

Also in the end Credits there's the island from A Bug's Life and Crush & Squirt from Nemo. :)

I was really expecting that one of the little crushed cubes WALL-E makes would be the same as the one from Monsters Inc when Sully thinks Boo has gone through the trash compactor (with the eye from Boo's costume sticking out), but I couldn't spot it.

Any Film Pixar does will do well because it's Pixar. They could a Film about a piece of Poo and they'll still do well:p:D!

And before anyone says anything I LOVE Pixar BTW and I for one am planning to go and see "Wall-E". Should be intresting seeing a Film with less Dialogue:).

In fact less or no Dialogue Films I find to be among one of the best Films IMO:D!

Great summary PeppemintPatty

Finally got round to watching it today and the artistic vision was absoutely astonishing...one of the few films that I've seen that I know I will be able to watch countless times in the future just to lose myself in its grimy beauty. It remnded me of 'Spirited Away' in so far as it showed that animation can feed the senses as well as, if not better than, any live action movie.

Wonderful, wonderful film....but not necessarily the best choice for the under-12's (or even the under 30's ;))

This was an amazing film! :D Disney PIXAR have done some great flicks but this for me is deffo up there in the All-Time #5!
It was awesome, am officially in love with WALL-E he was just so cute! :D I have to say I was really surprised at the emotional element to the film! Made it all the more "human" (Bad robot joke...)
Highly reccomended though, a real entertaining film! Had me grinning from start to finish! :)

I'm not a fan of Finding Nemo either. For me it's 'The Incredibles', 'Toy Story 1 & 2' and 'Monster Inc'. But each to their own anyway and at least it keeps the kiRAB entertained.

And apparently there was a Frozone bobblehead doll in WALL-E's truck too. And Skinner's Scooter was somewhere in the junkyard.

What's freaky is the some of the references to future films we hardly know about yet (ie. Nemo toy in Boo's Room (MI), the kid with the Incredibles comic in the dentists waiting room (Nemo) and apparently the dog in Ratatouille is from the next film Up (2009))

I love that they take time to do that. Who know what stuff was lying around in WALL-E.

Watched Wall-E at a free cinema preview this morning, and it's any excellent movie, certain one of my top 3 Pixars

Also 'Presto' that is shown before Wall-e is the best Pixar short I've seen so far - just couldn't stop laughing all the way through :D

There is another set of free screenings of Wall-E taking place this morning (Sunday) at 10:30am, some cinema's still have loaRAB of tickets available - my nearest Lancaster has 200 left

My 8 year old daughter loved it and went nuts when she saw the toys in a shop afterwarRAB. I thought it was great too, I agree with pretty much all the positive posts. (The short at the start was indeed brilliant btw!)

Top Pixar films (for me and my little'n) now:

1. Toy Story
2. Monsters Inc
3. Wall-E
4. Finding Nemo
5. Ratatouille

Of the few negative comments I've seen about WALL-E, that one takes the biscuit as being the most ignorant and potentially troll-worthy.

Well done slyfox51 - here, have a cigar.
