Unsatisfactory and Unresolved loose-ends in Revenge Of The Sith

That's what I assumed. I thought there would be a sequence where Anakin would delve into the archives to find out everything he could about the Sith Lord Palpatine's talking about, then discover that the apprentice who killed him was Palpatine. Anakin would then start to see what Palpatine was really like. Such an obvious lead on from this scene, considering Anakin was desperate to find out this power the Sith Lord had I'm surprised it wasn't shown. Maybe it will be a deleted scene on the dvd.

My biggest gripe: The mystery of how Jedi Master Sypho-Dias managed to contract with the Kaminoans to grow a clone army secretly, without the Jedi Council being aware of it, or even hear about it for almost 10 years after he was killed.

Will this be explained in a future TV series being planned?

Has there being any revelations in any Star wars books or comics about this mysterious origin of the clones?

This is a big gap in the plot that I had looked forward to being resolved in this last film.

another error is the Padme \ Anakin living arrangements.. a Jedi can't get married or have posessions, or relationships so he lives in a one bedroom place with Padme.. very good way to keep the relationship secret.. then when she gets pregnant i don't think it's going to take a Jedi to work out who the father is

During the opera scene, Palpatine tells Anakin the story of Darth Plagus the Wise.

It is not wrong to assume he was the apprentice here. It is something he would do.

Yeah i thought this also. When Obi-wan went its anakin's (refering to the baby) who else would she of been sleeping with? and she does live with him. BUT. i think at the beginning of the film when Anakin comes back from that mission and see's Amidala. i get the sense he's been away for at least 3-6 months. Hence why Amidala already has a bump. But still doesn't take a genious to work out its Anakins.

You would expect such an important plot development to be explored and resolved in the concluding film.

Who ordered Sypho-Dias to book the order for the clone army without going through the Jedi Council and why?

Was Sypho-Dias able to see far into the future with the Force and foresaw the events played out in the clone wars?

palpatine did know. it was all his plan. in episode 3 he takes control of the clone army by instigating a secret code. darth tyranous must have put the code in place when he used Jango as the template.

Yeah i thought so. thank you for clearing this up.

So Was Count Dooku, Palpatine's Apprentice? and what about General Grevious, whats the background on him? he had human organs so im guessing he used to be a human/living alien?

it's written in one of the books i think that there can only be 2 sith.. a master and an apprentice which is why in the first one when Darth Maul get killed they ask which one it was the master or apprentice.. this isn't really explained in the films very well..

after Dooku gets killed he neeRAB a new apprentice and had already started to turn Anakin anyway so didn't mind him killing Dooku that was part of the turning process.

Grevious wasn't a sith but he had been trained in how to use a lightsaber by Dooku

And why doesn't R2D2 recognise Yoda in Empire Strikes Back?

All little intricacies on the entire story.

Similar to why, if Jango and Boba Fett are such fantastic, fine specimens, then how come they are relatively rubbish, for example Jango senRAB Sam the Changeling to kill Padme in Attack of the Clones, and Boba gets finished off so easily in Return of the Jedi.

It's all things that leave holes, that all good stories have.

Here's what a friend of mine posted on another forum...

The Sifo-Dyas thing was covered in the book 'Labyrinth of Evil'. He was a Jedi and a good friend of Dooku's who sensed the coming darkness and war and therefore ordered the Clone Army. As a final test for Dooku, Sidious ordered him to kill his friend but leave the army in place as they could make use of it in the future. So Dooku killed Sifo-Dyas, then hired Jango to be the clone template. He then went to the Temple, erased Kamino from the archives and left the Jedi Order.

It's like the scene at the end of ROTJ. We were asked to believe that Luke would suddenly turn his back on his frienRAB and embrace the Dark Side. What would be his motivation?

I like the idea of a Sith mind trick.

Anakin acted out of anger when he attacked Mace, and that was the final opening Sidious needed to get inside his mind. Take a look at that scene again. Listen to Sidious' breathing. He sounRAB like he's sucking his spirit from him, and take a look at Anakin. He acts as if he's drugged. How powerful Sidious must be if he can get inside your head and alter your thought pattern.

I'd always wondered what Luke's motivation for turning to the Dark Side at the end of ROTJ would be. Was he just going to say, "Yeah, the Dark Side seems like a good idea!", but now I look on phrases such as, "I can feel your anger", "With each passing moment you make yourself more my servant", "You, like your father, are now...MINE!", and "Strike me down with all your hatred and your journey to the dark side will be complete!", in a new light.

Obi-Wan says, "You have allowed this Sith Lord to twist your mind!", and I believe he has, physically. All Anakin had to do was give him the key and Sidious would open the door. Dooku said that Anakin had fear and anger inside of him, "But you don't use them." He did when he saw the one chance he had of saving Padme was about to be taken from him. After that, he didn't stand a chance. He belonged to Sidious. As he says in ROTJ, "You don't know the power of the Dark Side. I MUST obey my master."

If you look closely at Alec Guiness' facial expressions in Episode IV it could be that he does recognise R2D2 - but doesn't recollect OWNING the droid. He would surely also recognise C3P0 but just wasn't letting on.

Who knows what R2D2 is saying or thinking. I'm sure he does recognise him and that's why he is so excited. Also Yoda would recognise R2D2 but just wasn't letting on. That would be how he knows that this is Luke - combined with his force sight. I like the way that Yoda seems so crazy and humourous in Empire until he gets serious again when talking with Ben. Obviously the isolation has caused him to go a bit loopy!

All my opinions and optimism by the way!
