Unsatisfactory and Unresolved loose-ends in Revenge Of The Sith

Well he'd gone too far hadn't he..? He slaughtered all the halflings - he'd killed Jedi - there was no going back..

It was only at the end of RTJ that he finally managed to find the good in him again.

In saying that he did turn too quickly for me and seemed to accept Palpatine's solution too easily, you'd think he would have wanted a few more answers before he turned to the RAB.

Yes they did. Dooku's sith name was Darth Tyranus - refered to by Jango (the clone template) which was why Jango Guarded Dooku in the arena battle. When Dooku meets Sidious he says that the war has started. They both knew about the clones because they knew Kenobi was after Jango.

well, they certainly learned form their errors, as it took them no time at all to put death star 2 together for ROTJ!

the main problem with ep 3 was this :

in the scene where anakin 'turned' they'd actually set it up pretty well - palpatine had lost his lightsabre, and it could have looked as tho the jedi were indeed the bad guys.

so all they had to do was let us see anaking buy palpatine's pleas, and kill windu, and turn.

so what the hell was the point in anakin realising that palpatine was evil before killing windu, and then the wholly implausibility of the 180 turn from "my god what jhave i done?" to "how can i serve you master" in 15 seconRAB?

The unwillingness to let go of possessions was his downfall and corrupted his vision.

As Yoda had told him more than once. The path to the Dark side of the Force would consume him. And it did.

Palpatine also told Anakin/Darth Vader that it was his fault Padme died by losing his temper he killed her. That's what lead to the 'Nnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo' moment. As far as Anakin is aware he killed her on the Lava Planet and she didn't die in childbirth and therefore he killed his children as well. This probably also explains why he never looked for them later.

you should see some of the comments in the forum on starwars.com.. they are as bad as religious fanatics who can't believe the bible has mistakes and contradicts itself.. the films do and it's not because George wanted it that way.. everyone makes mistakes

It's finished and working by the original/next movie. I don't think it's ever made clear how long it's actually been built - just that the rebels had just stolen the plans. Could've been around for years.

Also, is it clear how long after the godawful Frankenvader scene the Death Star construction scene takes place? Could be weeks, could be years.

Meh - my two penneth - what do I know.

And as posted earlier HE DID KNOW. Has it ever occurred to you that Dooku was feigning surprise to the other Separatists?

I point you to a couple of extracts from the script of Episode II:-

DARTH SIDIOUS: Welcome home, Lord Tyranus. You have done
well.

COUNT DOOKU: I bring you good news, my Lord. The war has
begun.

DARTH SIDIOUS: Excellent. (smiling) Everything is going as
planned.

Please note the phrase PLANNED.

Another Question i have is.... In ROTS, When Palpatine is watching that Opera show thing. And he's speaking Anakin, Who is the Master & the apprentice he is speaking of. when he says the master taught the dark side But the apprentice killed the master in his sleep.

Is this Palpatines former master?

Yeah and the fact, Palpatine corrupted his mind and basically was inside his head, Anakin had no reason for living and was just consumed by palpatines mind tricks. and due to the fact palpatine saved his life at the edge of the lava pit,

But with No arms or legs, and horrific burns, i think i'd rather of been left there,

And this is a question. Obi-Wan knew that Anakin was on the dark side and the strength of him, Why did he leave him alive on the lava planet? I know he said he was a brother, but as a jedi he should of finished him off, Even if it was to put Anakin out of his misery while being burned alive?

In the scene where Dokou is killed Anakin says he cannot kill an unarmed opponent as it is agaist the Jedi rules....I know he doesnt really have a problem braking rules but i suspect Obi One would.

Hmm, Anakin can sense that his Mum is in danger from across the galaxy but he can't sense the presence of his own kiRAB even when one of them is hiding in plain sight in the most obvious place, Tatooine watched over by the craftily disguised, er, 'Ben' Kenobi?
Considering that Vader menaces/tortures his own daughter in Star Wars but knows Luke is his son in Empire at what point does he became aware that the Emperor lied? Or does he like Luke more than Leia!

GL did say in some interviews in the 70s that orig their were 9 and he has outlined the plot but he's said he's not going to make them.. they had already been written as books though.. Han and Leia get married and have twins.. Palpatine gets cloned and comes back and a few other things
