Unpopular Opinions: Not everyone thinks "Citizen Kane" is the best movie ever!

I know, there are so many people crazy about him, but for some reason I never liked any of his movies, and it's not like I never tried to watch them. Because I did, I've seen many movies of him and I can't like them at all, Johnny Depp doesn't make me like them more (although I really like the actor).

 I hope it's not a reference of my UO.

I just remembered another one!

#10 - The Aviator is the worst movie ever made.

I really dislike Harry Potter. I read the first book and I thought it was lame, but my friends still wanted to take me to see the movie, and I thought it was worse than the book!

I think Seven is David Fincher’s best movie
I actually liked She’s the man
I don’t think Pride and Prejudice is that good. Atonement is MUCH better.
I like Armageddon
Benjamin Button was better than Slumdog
I can’t stand Tom Cruise
I REALLY LOVE Brokedown Palace, it's one of my favourite movies

I :love:d The Hitcher remake starring Sophia Bush but I have to admit Sean Bean had nothing on Rutger Hauer.

I am in agreement with you here.

My unpopular opinion: Halloween III: Season of the Witch wasn't that bad. It had an original story and the end was just chilling. It's my 3rd fave for the Halloween series.

I believe those are actually quite popular opinions. :P

Especially the whole spoof genre sucking bit.

Ha! Jennifer Lopez should stick to just her perfume line---she's not that great at any of her other talents....

I can't stand Twilight or any of the actors and don't get what the fuss is about (I've managed to get through the first book but wanted to punish myself for having actually read it--it's audience is aimed much younger than I am--like 12)

I think she's a lot overrated. And as an actress, in my opinion, she's only given two great performances: mental patient, Lisa Rowe, in Girl, Interrupted and Mariane Pearl, the wife of kidnapped/murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, in A Mighty Heart. For me, all of her other movies have been duds.

As for an unpopular opinion, my current one is I don't agree with all of the talk -- pretty much everywhere -- that The Dark Knight is the best movie "evah!". I think the last Batman movie I thoroughly enjoyed was the one that came out when I was twelve, 1992's Batman Returns.

Yeah, I like the fact that she helps people, but I don't think she's pretty and I can't see what's so great about her other then the fact that she's so helpful...

I think exactly the same
Personally I think she's a great actress, but she's a little overrated

UO #8: I think that The Evil Dead is Sam Raimi's best film to date
UO #9: I prefer Reservoir Dogs over Pulp Fiction
UO #10: I hated The Incredibles

Good to know! :)

I hated My Best Friend's Wedding because he marries the other chick and MOH might be just the reverse and that's what sucks is that it will be predictable!

Oh girl. I could rant an entire year about how RDJ got screwed over. He was brilliant. Comedy plus heartbreaking? Jeeze. Oscars are so dumb sometimes. Well most of the time, actually.

And you must watch Zodiac, Baby J! Some people complain it's too long but David builds the tension so high without ever letting you drop off the cliff that it's really remarkable.

I've got one...

Marylin Monroe is a terrible role model (why people try to immitate her I don't understand.)

 Recent graduate of film school right here... And "Citizen Kane" was the beginning of pretty much everything you see in films now. It's crazy... But pretty much any film studies class you will either watch this film or you will see clips of it.
