Unpopular Music Opinions

So Paul McCartny can't even come close to being no good? If this is no god than Paul is concentrated sewge water...

Also, let's Ringo play some drums like that (first video).

I do not enjoy the beatles work, even though I do respect there influence on modern music. It also appears that most people dislike primus here, but I love em.

RATM have nothing to complain about?

They cover a hell of a lot more issues than having to work for a living, I mean seriously, your logic baffles me, you're pretty much saying that people who aren't holding 3 jobs at a time shouldn't make political commentary.

Thats like a whole new level of stupid.

Yeah, no doubt. I'm sure it was revolutionary at the time. I did manage to connect with Kid A about 8 years after it was released though, regardless of that kind of impact.

Those kind of things must be exciting. Seeing as I've only been into music for 4-5 years now, I haven't gotten to see anything too towering happen in music. I'm just going to keep waiting.

The Beatles being lame compared to the banRAB I listen to isn't meerly an opinion, it's a tangible fact. Bass, time sigature, bpm, guitar distortion, layers of orchestrated sounRAB, among many things are all measurable values that can be used to judge how lame (lacking in motivation and passion) something is or is not.

Granted I don't have specific nurabers or formulas, it's just obvious. You don't need a thermometer to know the sun is hotter than my oven.

Los Angeles is overrated, but it's still a really good album. X as a band is criminally underrated.

They deserve a lot more recognition by the mainstream than they've gotten, which is why they've got such a huge cult following.

Yeah right, I like Mamagarmr, but you have to admit, being the grammatical freak you are, that his posts are virtually impossible to read.
And the comment was I didn't see how anyone could like those banRAB.

I can't really rank Sigur Ros albums. I listen to () when it's nice outside. I listen to Takk when I'm feeling very introspective. I listen to Von when the weather is crappy. I listen to Agaetis Byrjun when I know I'm in the mood for Sigur Ros, but none of the other aforementioned minRABets really apply. The rest of their albums kind of fall somewhere between all of those, but I really can't say one album is better than the other.
