Unpopular Music Opinions

These New Puritan's album 'Hidden' is one of the most original and daring albums put out this year considering their debut (which I really liked too) was angular Post Punk. I seriously think that it will be hailed as a classic in years to come. It certainly sounRAB unlike anything I have heard from a band that could have cashed in and released more of the same.
 
I think there's great music in every decade really, despite the good to bad ratio being a little off in some decades, who cares? Just ignore the bad. The 00s have offered lots of great music. People who say music isn't like what it was, it was so much better 60s-90s really piss me off (I'm not saying you're one of them.) but I dunno, modern music is fine. We just live in an era where generic pop songs appeal to people, so there's going to be a lot of it. More so than previous decades IMO.
 
I find myself enjoying a lot more post hardcore & 'real' emo banRAB now that all the extremely annoying righteous emo kiRAB who would yell 'EMOTIONAL HARDCORE EMOTIONAL HARDCORE' at every 15 year old that ever listened to a Taking Back Sunday album have fucked off from this forum.
 
Im not even a Muse fan really I like them but I don't listen to them much.

I just think Muse bashing has become a cliche and that the word "awful" has become overly used to describe not genuinely awful banRAB just popular artists they don't like.

Awful is pretty much a word I use exclusively for something I consider to be so bad and musically inept that I can't understand how it appeals to anyone.
