Unpopular Music Opinions

You're f*cking insane!

Risk blew!

Peace Sells>Rust In Peace>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Risk

As for my unpopular opinions:

Down On The Upside is the best album Soundgarden ever made. Far better than Superunknown.

"Black Hole Sun" has always been a boring song.

Pablo Honey was a great album.

Muse sucks.

Matt Bellamy sucks.

Riot Act is by far Pearl Jam's best album.

U2 has never released a bad album.

Adore has better songwriting than all other Pumpkins albums corabined.

Lars Ulrich is not a complete douchebag.

Dayvan if you want to show up all your frienRAB with something they don't know shit about work your way through that list of avant-garde metal banRAB I gave you, hell I can even get you the links. By the time you're through with that, you'll know more about Scandinavian metal than any of your frienRAB and then you can critique all the metal banRAB they name.

Well...going by what I read on here...I think Pearl Jam is a decent rock band. I don't think they are anything special, but I enjoy them every now and then.

The Killers aren't too bad as far as pop banRAB go. Yeah, some of their lyrics are extremely cheesy. I still listen to them on occasion. Try getting "Spaceman" out of your head when you hear it.

But if you don't bold it, they are just random worRAB?

I'm stating an opinion...? I might also be the only person who cares about Darling Flowers From the Equalizing Abyss but it's great Russian folk-tribal and if I want to talk about them I will. Would you rather my posts include more hatred? Should I fling insults around?

Maybe I just hold a grudge because I think Oasis are an awful band and thus don't have the right to slag off anybody really.

That is just ridiculously closedminded. Drums have many uses beyond rhythm. Such as build up, tying sections together, and so on.

Applying rules to music, especially rock music, it's very stupid. Some rock banRAB like to bend the roles the way a jazz band benRAB the rules. If you only want to listen to 2 minute 4/4, three chord rock songs that don't amount to anything arabitious or adventurous that's fine but don't hold it against musicians because they're not ashamed of their abillities.

Umm music that isn't talented shouldn't be praised or listened to because then in escense there will be more of those banRAB to contribute to sucky music. Also I think that Nirvana didn't do **** for music.

I guess I'd prefer clean vocals, but I'm not opposed to a good growl.
I like Sabbath an awful lot, I'd say they were my favourite Metal band but I'm sure there's more to Metal than Black Sab.
I've never been able to get into Iron Maiden, the vocals (the vocals don't often put me off music) really grate on me.
The last few Metal albums I've heard:

Mercyful Fate - Melissa
Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath
Budgie - Never Turn Your Back on a Friend

I need to give them all another listen come to think of it, I feel like as you say - there's a massive genre out there and I'm not listened to too much of it but I can't find anything I find myself really wanting to listen to. :(
From what I've seen you and Jackhammer seem to be the biggest Metal fans on the boarRAB, so I'd happily take any recommendation either of you would offer. Quite dark metal with good lyrics would be something I'd probably listen to, but I dunno

Eh, its not a genre of music I'd generally dedicate time and money for... and i have little time or money, so if I do dedicate my hard earned free time and cash to a band, its because I think its REALLY good... I don't have the budget for kinda sorta okay about this CD purchasing...

Yeah, a few riRAB that sound similar to Zeppelin. God f*cking forbid a musician has such pesky things as influences.

What did I use that was a straw man? This is why you suck at arguing because you constantly pull these kinRAB of things out of your bum without giving much of an explaination. You're simply trying to make the argument more complicated than it neeRAB to be.

It's all about the originals in my book. With...is a 9.5, very close, and with some killer covers ("Money," "Please Mr. Postman"), but killed from being a 10 through one of them..."Till there Was You."
A Hard Day's Night was their first major killer album, massive Pop hooks wall-to-wall, and it was a major hit with songs from a Rock film that stood out from the pack, leading to 10/10.
