Unpopular Music Opinions

I don't get it, is this really such an unpopular opinion? Did people here really dislike HttT, and if so, why? It has so much good going for it.

I never mentioned popularity once. You are claiming they are better than the most influential band of the 20th century , i'm asking you to explain how this is so.

Come on now i've only asked you this 8 times now and you've still not answered this.

I was just looking for an excuse to bitch about screamo some more. Granted it's not a super unpopular opinion but the fact that Caveman hangs around here adRAB an element of danger to it. :ar_15s:

The obscure genres are generally only for elitists. When I split up metal, I normally divide it this way:

Heavy, Power, Prog, Death, Thrash/Speed, Doom/Goth/Atmospheric/Post/Sludge, Industrial, Black, Folk/Viking and nu-metal.

I suppose you could add metalcore and grindcore if you wanted, but I group metalcore with nu-metal and stick grindcore under death metal.

After that, I divide it on another level. Drone doom is going to sound very different to traditional doom. Brutal death is very different to melodic death... etc.

Uh, yah, if you're saying that old music sucks, then listen to the song Lark Tongues In Aspic Pt. II by King Crimson, 1973. Lol.
Edit: I love how Oomph! is taking so long to respond to my post.

If I was taking a dump while I was writing that list I'm pretty sure I would have remerabered them.

I mean it's not that I come into contact with them regularly, I don't think I've heard one of their songs on radio or tv since about 1994.

Was that done by the same guy who did this one:

You crazy. All three of those songs are way better than "Let's Go To Bed". I believe this has even been scientifically verified in peer-reviewed journals as a fact.
