Unpopular Music Opinions

So we went from anxiety of the present to "just dwelling on all the multitudinous woes of adolescence"?

Also, you can't just slip in 'teen' angst to satisfy your misnomer. Angst isn't the same thing as your negatively conotated 'teen-angst' even though your trying to prescribe them as the same.

Ok, drum machines and sequencers still basically count.

No, that was a tucking fypo, I meant 'isn't'.

I didn't say old music sucks, that was just a sarcastic remark in response to the 1999 comment.

What point? It was a question.

Louder Than Sh it? Louder Than Fu ck? Louder Than Pu ssy? Louder Than D icks? Louder Than G ays? Louder Than An uses?

Sometimes you can guess what **** means based on context, but here, not really.

Struck off my frienRAB list :( Still making good music 30 years after their debut.

Why do I have to listen to it a certain nuraber of times to meet your criteria? Around 4 times which means that I won't dig an album at all. 'Growers' kick in after the second or third listen. I am seldom fickle when it comes to what I like and don't like.

^right, only i clearly remeraber 1995 and the fact that for a while you simply couldn't turn on a music channel without seeing one of those 4 videos (can't believe i forgot Street Spirit - which actually charted higher than Creep). the singles for 'The BenRAB' were not minor hits, they're the reason they were able to take the chances they did with OK Computer.

to call them a one hit wonder until OK Computer is just wrong, not unpopular, wrong.

No Surprises (a lot of nostalgia in this one though, so I doubt it counts), Lucky, The Tourist, Exit Music (For A Film) were the big ones.

Like I said no song on the album is bad, but they rarely leave a lasting impression. I still listen to it on occasion, though.

Fun House is the most overrated proto punk album there is, I actually find it rather boring, too many songs sound the same and half of them go on for too long, Ron Asheton is the last person who should do two minute guitar solos. I hate the production, there's a difference between lo fi production and production that makes the band sound like they're a mile away.

New York Dolls > Raw Power > Kick out the Jams >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fun House

I have albums by Ramones, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Buzzc*cks, Patti Smith, Crass, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, The Stooges, MC5, Minutemen, X, Husker Du, Wire, Gang of Four, Fear, The Descendants, The Misfits, The Cramps, Discharge, Suicidal Tendacies, Bad Religion, Circle Jerks, Fugazi, Mike Watt, New York Dolls.

So yeah, punk is ok I guess.

I don't listen to Technical Metal because in the most part I think it f*cking sucks, and I have listened to a wide load of Technical Metal hence my opinion that it sucks... I can't be wrong, because it's my opinion that it's bad, just as it's your opinion that it's good.

And the rab courtesy crusade wages on...

I agree, though Italicizing and underlining are used for the same purposes when it comes to titles, but italicizing is key on the webz as most underlined stuff looks like a hyperlink.
