Unpopular Music Opinions

Here we go again...

-Yes, Rush, Genesis, Camel, VdGG, Magma, ELP, Gentle Giant >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>King Crimson
-Dangerdoom>Madvillian
-The Stooges bore the crap out of me
-Panic at the Disco are a fantastic band
-We're only in it for the Money and Sheik Yerbouti are nowhere near Zappa's best.
-Sun Ra>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Miles Davis

I don't know if it's unpopular but I think The Great Rock N Roll Swindle is much better than Nevermind The Bollocks (with the exception of the the track Bodies).

What? How? I've never heard Creed on the radio. Not even an understatement, I've heard Nickelback a few times though. Creed are completely out of the way, so I don't care about them. However One Last Breath and Sacrifice are alright songs.. I'd rather listen to them than Nickelback - Rockstar.

I find guitarists to be the most irritating music fans.

Maybe it's because their judgement on what is good is clouded by what they can play or aspire to play , maybe it's because it's also clouded by technique and ability rather than the whole package.

Plus I find a lot of them have a superiority complex and think because they know how to play 3 chorRAB or whatever that automatically makes their opinion more informed.

3 ... 2 ... 1 .........................

You have no proof whatsoever that they were just screaming because Paul was cute. Stop trying to pass your own unfounded assumptions off as legit facts.

Other than the knock that it doesn't have the solidified nature that an entire album does I don't see how you can hate on it. It's fan friendly in the sense that it's free and putting out new music.

Do you recall, specifically, what you did not like about them?
Yes, pleaseandthanks, listen to Demon Days. It had all the fun of the debut, none of the (kinda) blandness of Plastic Beach, and Danger Mouse, who never hurts....

Like who?

I definitely think it's safe to say post-rock is sort of the modern equivalent of prog. In fact, before started being commonly referred to as "post-rock" I remeraber people calling it "progressive".
