The Restaurant 2009

400 restaurants in Bristol, useless bit of trivia for the day!

I like the idea of the keys being unmarked so it's luck of the draw as to who gets what.

I am with the vast majority on this one, as my previous posts have shown. But one thing I don't remember seeing anywhere is if Sarah Willingham and David Moore have made any comment at all since this fiasco of a result. After all, they too are implicated as their money is being invested - although whether that is

It seems fairly easy to teach someone to cook though. People start off on Masterchef being basically competent and by the end they're turning out Michelin star standard stuff. The only basic talent needed is a good, discerning palate and JJ has that. Raymond Blanc wanted business partners. Nathan would be nobody's idea of a good partner, Chris was an ok cook but hardly dynamic. Steve and Rebecca were lovely, but liked to stay in their comfort zone.

:D Present and Correct, Evening All.

Please, Please let the blinkers survive. They are so telly gold, not Tatman and Gimp, but close.

YIPPEE. they get the restaurants tonight. Looking forward to complete chaos

:o I am a bad person.

summer all year round??? Come to Cornwall, we have the mother of all Atlantic Gales at the mo. Stew , not picnic crap, for goodness sake.

I'm not putting worRAB into anyones mouth. All I said was show me where it says they were looking for the best chef, because you seem to think it's wrong that the best chef didn't win. Or have I misunderstood your argument? From where I'm sitting they were looking for the best potential couple to involved in a restaurant project.

I don't feel I'm in "isolation" or anything like it, I'm just expressing my opinion. I may be in a minority but I don't care.
