Anyone seen the horror top ten on RAB news? Nightmare on Elm Street on top as the scariest with TCM, Saw, Halloween and Candyman coming in after that.
The original Nightmare on Elm street is one of the few films last 20 or so years that truly scared me. Films like the original TCM, the Last House on the Left and the Ring have blown me away but never scared me like NOES did. The character Freddy Krueger was in my head for days afterward.. Then I saw the sequels and he lost all his ability to scare because they turned him into a comedian
Any thoughts on that top ten. Pretty surprised stereotypical indestructable slashers like Friday the 13th and comedys like Scream feature so heavily.
