The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

So they didn't kill it all they gave it change and freshness in a different direction. I mean that's how I look at it. If change is bad for a genre than anyone who's original is bad for music.

Please don't over-react again, but I strongly recommend using the Seach Forums option in the Forums Jump toolbar. You will discover that Nirvana is far from forgotten on this site, with over a hundred related topics as the evidence. It is often better to bring back old threaRAB rather than create "more-of-the-same" threaRAB. These threaRAB shouldnt be thought of as the "flavor of the week". Just because people havent posted in them in a while does not mean they are done with. Bring back old ones, read comments that have already been made.

I hope when you go to sleep at night you agknowledge that you're an idiot, and know you come here only to f*ck things up.

Metal kiRAB are draw to metal in my opinion because they have inferiority complexes and they want to get away from themselves and reality as much as possible. Their frail boring existances seem tolerable when they throw on headphones and pretend to be viking warriors, or some form of friggen monster.

Do yourself a favor man, no one thinks you're cool because you're "intense." I've seen you write here before "Metal will never catch on because its just to crazy and out of control." And written between the lines you just wished you weren't boring.

Don't go into a Nirvana thread if you don't like them, you were warned and doing that should get you some form of citation. Or at the very least, we should be allowed to flame the holy hell out of you.

on topic: im a come as you are fan

off topic: dammit! moses and me go to the same school... ive only been on this site a few times so hopefully he wont know. 'sides is it possible to find out who logged on the computer that went on it?

They changed it for a couple of years.

I`ve never been convinced of this breaking the underground stuff though.

If they did perhaps someone would be able to make a list of all the independently released albums that have made it to the U.S. top 10 over the past 15 years.

Not a big Nirvana fan not even back when Bleach came out but the only tracks I really rate are Negative Creep and Terrortorial Pissings. Never heard anything after the first 2 albums either.

^actually he wasn't "boarded in", even the police report can tell you that.(in fact it was the only media that said otherwise) It was a stool. But it was only next to the door anyways, not against it or anything. Also, there was another entry point-a balcony, with two doors and unlocked at that. Altogether, there were two sets of french doors leading into the room he died in.

How do you know? You Were never there............so blah..........lol No one will ever know how the story ever went, But it doesn't matter how he died. All that matters now is that he is dead. He was an AWSOME guy, and he was and still is loved for his talent and the way he could just reach out and make it feel like the song he wrote was just 4 you. The world lost a great gift when we lost Kurt, even if we don't know how he was killed. So lets stop arguing about this. :wavey:
peace out.

Nirvana was the first band I loved as a kid. Kurt died before I got into them though, as I was only 8 when he died. I don't listen to them nearly as much as I use to, but I still find myself popping in In Utero or Live from New York every now and then. One thing is for sure, its disgusting how he's been made into a tool of the corporations he hated.
