Tattoo me, tattoo you

My sister got one on her wrist not long ago and said the pain wasn't too bad.
I would've thought the hip bone would be really sore :eek:

I could totally see getting a matching tattoo with my mom or another family member, as long as we could agree on what to get. :lol: But really, I think getting that kind of matching tattoo is perfectly cool, not so much with a romantic partner...

So, I'm getting a new tattoo tomorrow! Only problem is I have a couple designs that I'm going back and forth between. I can't decide!

I know I want to get the number "13". I've been wanting it for a while, and tomorrow is Friday the 13th so it's perfect. So I'm thinking of maybe getting it inside a fleur de lis:

On the middle leaf part. By the way this tattoo would be on the back of my neck, either right on the neck or just below it.

I want that design, but I'm also thinking of having an ivy vine with the 13, either in a circle around the number or across the bottom of it. I like the symbolism that goes with ivy, I just don't know if it will work with the 13 tattoo. Ahh I need help!
 
See I like it when people have tattoos not in the most obvious places. Like there thigh or inner arm. I really can't stand tattoos on the neck unless it's on the back or it's not that big.
 
Anyway, I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo. Problem is what to get since it's going to be permanent (laser surgery would be costly and painful). All I know is, if I ever get one, it's probably going to be around the shoulder area.

^ :nod: It is always a risk. If I get one I already know what tattoo parlor I want to go to. I've taken my friend there to get some piercings, it's really clean and the people who run it are really nice.
 
I have one, on my lower back. It's the Diamondbacks symbol, the D that looks like a snake. Under it says "November 4th, 2001" which is the day they won the World Series. I'm a big fan, lol.

I want to get more. I want the number "Thirteen" in some form, either on my wrist or the back of my neck.

The tattoo did hurt like heck, but I'm not afraid of the pain any more. If you really want one you just got to do it. The pain is temporary after all.
 
I saw a guy on the street who had tattoos on his face yesterday... I should have asked him, but actually, he kinda scared me... :look:
 
I want to get a small tattoo eventually, but I'm not sure where or what I want yet. Once I decide I plan on waiting a year or so and seeing if I still want it before I actually have it done. One of my closest friends just got a tattoo of a lilly on her shoulder a few weeks ago, I haven't seen it yet though.
 
You're right. Because I was the one that started the thread. ;) I don't blame anyone though since the last time it was updated was back in October.

This depends where the tattoo is. Some places would prefer if you have it covered and such.
 
I just had a tattoo done on my hip bone and it didn't hurt one bit - I didn't even know he'd started doing it! But I may just be strange :lmao:

I'm thinking of getting another one done on my wrist!
 
I am dying to start my tatoos. I am Still debating on where to put it however. I'm thinking the back of my neck, so that it's not too obvious if I don't want it to be, but of that's the case I'll have to wait til after my friend's wedding in July since our hair is going to be up.

I was also contemplating the ankle or the foot, but I heard that the foot fades rather quickly, and you have to get it retouched more often.

As to what I'm getting, I am wanting a butterfly, for the symbolism it has to the butterfly effect (not the movie, lol)!
 
i admit tattoos when beautiful can be really sexy depending on when you put them.
My sister has chinese sign in the bottom of her back and a little devil woman on her wrist... These are really cute...
 
Thanks. I am getting it regardless, cause I've wanted it so long, and really the pain eases up some once the adrenalyn kicks in. :)
