Tattoo me, tattoo you

If you don't want to see blood, do it somewhere you won't see while the artist is tattooing you. ;)

My mum has a big brother (4 years older than her) and two little sisters (10 & 11 years younger than her.)

My auntie, aged 14 at the time, begged my mum to get her a tattoo for her next birthday and my mum being the rebel she thinks she is said yes.
So she went and got a Scotland flag on her backside. 13 years later, their mum and dad (my grandparents) still don't know about it so I guess your bum's a safe bet

I know, I would never do anything on my face... I like that I can hide or show my tatts depending on my mood, but on your face, it's always visible.

No, it wasn't that one...and I seriously couldn't watch someone getting that done to their eyeballs! :thud:

i want a tattoo but i'm scared of the pain  i hate needles and blood  and i need it somewhere my folk wouldn't see it. even legal, they are veryyy conservative :wiggle:

I'm not sure if there is already a thread about this if so then please lock this.

But I was thinking about getting a tattoo and was wondering what everyone heres experiences with tattoos are? Like the pain etc. What tattoos do all the :ff: posters have?

Good idea! :high_five:
I have one on my lower and my upper back. So far so good, my dad hasn't seen either. *fingers crossed*

But even if he found out, it wouldn't be fair for him to get mad at me. I am an adult, and my sister has a couple tattoos herself. I'm more worried that he'd be upset over what I got, which is why I don't want to show him.

I have one on my left boob and it didn't hurt at all. Most people psych themselves out for it and find out its not at all as bad as it seems. Good luck hope you give it a try sometime!

I watched a few minutes of a show about tattoes on some cable channel, and they were tattoing someones face...

I can't even imagine. :thud:

 Love it!

I want the Hebrew word "timshel" which means 'thou mayest' and is the central message of East of Eden. I think it's beautiful and that message really connects me to male characters in film, tv and literature.

I don't know WHERE I want it though. I don't have any tattoos and I would like it to be somewhere I could cover up. Any suggestions?

I have three tattoos. I have a butterfly with the colors purple and pale lavendar (the tattoo artist who did it gave me the idea to put pale lavendar in it also) on my lower back, I have a dolphin going through the moon with purple and yellow stars on top of it on my lower right ankle, and I have a purple rose with a ladybug on it, on my lower left ankle.

Each tattoo tells a story about my personality. And that I why I love them so much.

I might get one more. I am not sure yet. If I do, it will be a Thistle. My mother was born in Scotland as well as a lot of my family members (my cousin still resides there), so it would be a nod to her and my Scottish hertiage.

i would love to get a tattoo this year, but everyone is putting me off it because according to them "When your an old woman it will look disgusting"..

I don't know what to do. If i do get one it will only be a small one either around my wrist area or on my ankle. Musical notes/stars/or the 4 suits (spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs)...

i like tatoos but i'm afraid of doing one!! if i had to have one it would certainly be a small red rose (yeah really classic lol) on my left "boob"...

lol I know what ya mean...
I just got one done a few weeks ago like right below my belly button, kinda on the pubic line going across, and thought afterwards "oh *****, i hope this doesn't get all weird if i ever get pregnant!" i tried to go low enough to where it wouldn't stretch out.

but yeah... i got 5 of them. more to come. =)

Yeah mine is going on to be on my upper back so my dad can't see it. He flipped out when he saw my sister's on her lower back. It's going to be my present to myself when I finally have enough money to move out of my parents house. I just hope it will be before I'm eighty.
