Tattoo me, tattoo you

I got this done in August when I found out my oldest sister has breast cancer. My two other sisters have similar ones. My sister really appreciated that we did it to support her :)

I really want a tattoo of a penguin on my wrist, but I'm not sure if it'll look good on me or if I can't stand the pain! :look:

Where be this piercing at?

I don't mind getting piercings...that is only in my ears. For some reason, I'm scared of getting them anywhere else (lips, eyelid, nose, belly button). Plus, I don't know if my hole is closing up since I don't wear earrings that often.

Back on topic, I'm thinking of getting one on my back somewhere. Still not sure of the design.

When I was younger I was unsure of where I would get the tattoo and what it would be of. Now I know the tattoos I want and where I would put them. The problem is now I really don't have the money to be spending on one right now. And I still live with my parents who are very against tattoos. When my sister got hers, my dad didn't speak to her for two weeks.

The back doesn't hurt that much... it hurts more when you get tattooed over a bone... like your hip bone ;)

i wouldn't either

i still can't decide what to get :pout: i'm stuck. the part that it's on you forever is really putting me back. i was gna get my doggies paw prints (becuz they are so tiny, and SO CUTE that i squee)

Ah, the classic "I'll do it...if you do it first."

Interesting picture. And I thought the Lizardman was crazy.

I have 3 and 1/4 tattoos. I have a Rennie Mackintosh style design on my wrist as I wanted something that was Scottish and classic, I have kanji on my back for 'spirit' and a purple and blue phoenix on my back. My 1/4 tattoo is one that is being removed and I have a tiny bit to go before it's gone.

I'm working on a new design, it's been in the planning stages for a year or so and I've just about figured it out. I've got one more laser treatment left and then I'm good to go.

I have two tattoos. A small flower on my left calf and this one on my right shoulder/back:

The first one only took 40 minutes, so it didn't really hurt... I'd compare it to a bee sting that lasts for a while  My second one didn't hurt either at first. But since it took 2 and half hours to get it done, at the end, it was hurting a LOT. But I did bring a friend with me to talk to me and cheer me up the whole time.

I'm not sure about getting a third one yet... sometimes I think I will, but still undecided. I waited 3 years before getting my second one done, to be absolutely sure. Now, I'm so happy. But since it's fairly recent, I'm not feeling the need to add another yet :D

Also, I made sure to choose places that wouldn't stretch too much throughout my life... no tummy, no boobies, no hips. ;)

I've thought about it. I wanted to get a tiny little bluebird on my right ankle...but I'm not into pain and I'm absolutely terrified of the risk of catching Hepatitis C.

man dude but wont the back hurt like EPICLY  i was sorta thinking hip, doubt my parents would look there :P

I wanted a tattoo of a sunflower with the name "karennlou" on the bottom of my leg when the foot joins. But people say it would be painful cos the needle would be hitting the bone down there. Would it be painful?

The face tattoes that I saw on the TV show are about Maoris representing cultural pride, and that's kinda  But I think that it wouldn't suit most people.

Yeah Sheils, I would definitely suggest getting the tattoo on your back. That's where both of mine are. They're easy to hide (from parents and such), and you don't have to watch while they do it, if that would freak you out. :)

Don't quote me on this but I suppose think of it like having your teeth drilled...except when they really hit it in to the root. ;)

The LOTR tattoo looks sweet!
