Tattoo me, tattoo you

She looks great for a woman who is in her 70's and she obviously must have been very pretty when she was younger....I can understand having a few tattoes but this is sorta over the top, and it makes me wonder why.

Here's a link to another picture of her: Guinness World Records - Yahoo! News Photos

 Sorry, just laughing at the mental image of the tattoo stretching out. But um...I don't know if it would get deformed to be honest.

I have 3.....a butterfly on my left shoulder, celtic knot on my chest, and clover on my right ankle with my kids names around it

I'll get my tattoo hopefully next month
It'll be a bird, in my back, right below my nape

Thank you!
I came home today and found my sister proudly showing off her new tattoo (3 pawprints on her wrist.) so it's spurred me on to get mines done. I'm hoping to get it down mid-June when I get back from my holiday as I'm pretty skint right now the pain my sister described doesn't sound too bad, but then again she's the girl who has a nose piercing, a tongue piercing, 2 navel piercings, 6 ear piercings and a 'madonna' piercing so she's pretty good with pain

About the tattoos being on show; I was thinking about getting it on my forearm which of course can be easily covered with long sleeves but I was a bit worried about the summer months when I'd be wearing short sleeves.

I was thinking of that, actually. Or I was thinking of getting the fleur-de-lis in the center and then have the ivy coming behind my back from around my shoulder, if that makes sense (kind of like Rihanna's star tattoo). Because I think if I had all 3 parts in one it would get a little busy, and it would take longer. I'm not sure I could afford it.

I got a rose above my ankle. This parlor is really neat and nice. Planning on getting one on my wrist. But the pain....

You should try a henna tattoo first. Get what you want where you want it and if you like it then you can get the real thing. My only regret is that I got mine on my boob and I'm pregnant at the moment and if I'm anything like my mum and grandma, they're gonna get alot bigger than what they are. Hopefully my tattoo wont get too deformed :)

Me too. I want to be able to hide it if I want to. I'm definitely thinking of thigh for my 3rd one.

Lucky! haha. I've thought of just telling my dad I have/want to get a tattoo, but I'm just scared of his reaction. Although my sister has tattoos and he knows about them. :look:

I would love to get a tat on my wrist if I was brave enough to let him see it.

The TV show that I saw was about a guy who was travelling the world kinda looking into the history of tattooing (and it seemed like he was getting a tattoo himself everywhere he went) so the face-tattooing was a traditional thing being done by Maoris in New Zealand. The tats looked really  but I just couldn't watch it being done.

I'm going to get my first tattoo after I'm done with my finals for school in May. I want to get a star or peace sign on my foot.

Has anyone gotten a tatoo on your foot? I really really want one. I've never had a tattoo before and although I'm pretty good with pain, I have heard that the foot is one of the most painful. Any insight? Thanks so much!

My mum's pretty cool when it comes to tattoos and piercings, she says she'll come with me to get my first one.

Oh thats so cool, my mom has 2 tattoo's already so if I asked her I'm sure she wouldn't be so against it

Oh man the fleur de lis is awesome, if you can't choose between that and the ivy why not think about putting them together, like the ivy going around the fleur de lis, I'm just thinking out loud
