It would propably cost around $15 , maybe with TMN BEV will offer a discount for both of them.

Does anyone have any information on the pricing for the Superchannel "channels" on ExpressVu?

A price of $16 cannot compete when compared to TMN. If they plan on not going broke, they'll either have to cut the price to a fraction of that, somehow mysteriously find a way to get contracts with big studios and have a huge and dramatic increase in quality, or shut down Super Channel for good before they lose too much money.

SuperChannel official's press release from Bell...

Still no pricing. At this point would only go as high as $2 a month for the channels. How many times do you really want to watch Saw? Guess they would rather wait until you see the free preview which I guess will not be a real preview but more promo stuff.

Agent is not supposed to add the Superstations individually...

They are supposed to add it only with the Movies (East or Central, depending on your localisation) for 16$ if you hve more than 6 themes or 19$ if you have less than 6 themes

The codes are in the system, and lots of agents will bypass that rule to make an "upgrade". Superstation will cost you 5$/month

If you have Pop Corn ask that they put Pop Corn plus which is the same as Superstations It will cot you 4$ instead of 5$

$16!!!

Good luck with that....I'm already almost a $100 a month!

More channels with the same movies......

Cheers

$16?!?!?!?!? ROTFLMAO! I'd pay maybe $5. They can start digging the grave for Superchannel version 2 right next to version 1 today! RIP.

Ouch. You aren't exactly a dream customer of Bell (or any TV provider in Canada)! :)

You can't buy individual channels for $2, let alone a package of 6. My guess is the $15ish price point makes sense. My understanding is that ONLY Bell has announced carriage of the service; the retail price may be the subject of current negotiations with other providers so neither Bell or SuperChannel want to commit to anything until a few more contracts are signed.

$16 a year, maybe. But $16 a month? Surely they're not serious.

(I know, "they are serious, and don't call me Shirley.")

Ok, I already have Movies East so then I should get the superchannels as well. Bell's website isn't really clear (actually there isn't any information about the superchannels yet except a small blurb about stay tuned and see). I originally thought that Bell was going to split their movie channels in another way so there would be three themes. Thank you (even though you don't work for Bell any longer, which could be the best thing that ever happened to you! :) ).

$16....Pffft.

There wasn't a single show listed on their site that I recognize (except the closer) or have any interest in and their movie selection looks pitiful as well. The only reason I keep MC is for their original series like Stargate and Dexter and the odd movie in HD.

Good luck getting people to shell out more money for an even worse service than MC. I know, its hard to believe you can get worse than MC ;)

I really don't understand why Bell keeps adding channels nobody really wants while continuing to ignore requests for Showcase HD and National Geographic HD. If Shaw had a better HD PVR I would switch over to them as my sole provider.

$16.00 LOL,LOL sorry can`t type anymore laughing to hard.....$5.00 a month they maybe I am in...LOL,LOL

Personally I think WPIX,KTLA & WGN should be disclassified as Super station as their now CW betwork. Abd the CRTC should allow KWGN,WWOR,TBS(not Peach Tree but that one should be kept along with TBS Super Staion) & WSBK should be the new Super Staions.

C'mon guys - $16 is the price of a single movie ticket with pop corn. For this price (down to $13 if you have 5+ themes), Superchannel gives you 4 regular channels + 2 HD channels and a good variety of programming for a whole month, including recent movies. I don't find it that expensive.

I was referring to contracts between SuperChannel and Shaw, Rogers, Videotron, etc. Since only Bell is announced -- and all providers must carry the service -- final retail pricing may not be fully determined yet. If Star choice signs in at $12, Bell doesn't want to offer it at $15.

It looks like ltldevl is referring to the new SuperChannels that will start airing on Bell Nov 2 and Ex Agent EV is referring to the SuperStations (KTLA, etc).
