Alright, I am going to do a review for the episode now, and then a series review sometime this week.
Wow. This episode was ridiculously intense. The fight between Suzaku and Kallen was as awesome as I had expected. I like that they went on the ground for a good part of it also, as this seemed to be forgotten in R2. Although Gino said Kallen "won" I think it is clear that the battle was pretty much a tie.
And damn, I did not expect Orange to get such a kickass battle. He had a robot inside a robot and then a cyborg inside a robot, you can't get much more kickass than that. I am glad that he got rid of Anya's geass, it was a nice touch. Orange working in an Orange field? Who would have thought.
Lelouch and Nunally confrontation was done very well. I liked how he threw away everything for the sake of the world, he truly was a hero.
Lelouch's death. Wow. I rarely cry in anime and this had me going. When Nunally was crying out for her brother, damn, I just couldn't take it. His speech with Suzaku was beautiful, and I liked how C.C. cried for him.
And I don't think Lelouch is dead. The main reasoning is because C.C. is talking with him. We know she talked with Marianne, VV and Charles, but once VV died that stopped, and the same with Marianne and Charles, so she must be talking with an alive Lelouch.
And while it seems only a limited amount of people knew about his plan, I think a good bit did.
Todoh, Kallen, Lloyd, Cecile, Sayoko, Kaguya (since she knew his true nature), and possibly a few more.
A great end to a great series.
I will truly miss Geass =(
9/10 for the episode.
