Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Hes lost his memories and the first eppy is about him gaining them back. Sort of like what light does this episode thats airing on This having been spoiled by people who say the prescreening of the first eppy of season two.

I don't believe thats the point at all. I'll give you an example. In the USA we have troops fighting and dieing in Iraq but here we are enjoying anime and living normal "Previlaged" lives. Does that make us bad people? Do some American look with distain on others around the world. Does this make American as a whole a land of spoiled brats?

The more you look at Code Geass the more you realize how much it follows the "mecha" stereotype. We got invincible supersolders like the great traitor, the innocent girl that gets caught up and killed in the conflict, The fiery heroin, etc.

Ah, I never watch Destiny so that explains it.

Also, Kallen is going to squeal like a little school girl when she sees the Guren Portable-Type. Looks like at least she will be able to fly.

A shot of ass is an unneeded distraction. It harms the story by taking away from it by means of attention. What could have been done in a conference room with all people in their uniforms is done with everybody out of their clothes in a small bedroom. WTF.

Okay then, we'll try something else then for comments. *inhales* That was a splendid piece of claptrap that never made me want to wretch.
It could have been done LAST episode instead of this episode. It's like all the recaps of Destiny and SEED, where some intense action is then replaced by some unneeded lull and all our adrenaline is lost. They don't know how to keep things at a fast rate. It's like they quickly deflate every serious story arc and then have to spend an episode inflating the plot back up to speed. Soon we'll have it alternating between episodes.

Yeah it would be a nice way for Lelouch to let off his feelings, although given his circumstances it will probably be Kallen instead of C.C. when he does that.

C.C. will probably make a snide comment and then some striking, epiphany of a retort that gets Lelouch thinking and him off to battle.

China certainly didn't go as planned, with Kallen being captured, but the overall outcome was rather satisfying for him.

And if Lelouch had too much pride then he wouldn't be helping the Japanese...they'd be 'beneath' him.

And @ Juu;

I just can't see why they'd introduce Rolo's weakness like that for him to not die by it, I could be wrong, but it is a rather large weakness.

You know I never thought of it like that but...yeah there is no turning back from his "orange-ness" at this point.

I wonder if the dub actors call Crispin Freeman "Orange-boy" as a joke

I thought she was always a part of the darkside...

I'd buy that doll.

Well, apparently they can.

Yes, thats their proper place in the world. Err, of anime girls that is....

Do they have peanut butter cookies. If so, count me as evil.

Yeah, it makes me wonder if people here have actually watch the first season. Its full to the top with the absurd.

And people are missing the BIG point of this episode. Sayoko (fake Lulu) is a NINJA!

All this talk about Kallen bondage and when I see the scene I'm disappointed. You call that bondage?! *what a bunch a prunes*

I found the shot of C.C. more...fanservicy (yes, thats a word).

Yes, but the point is the only thing that Lelouch hadn't done that Light had was die, and now he did that. But again, I like to pick on Code Geass for ripping off other anime, but overall, it was a really great anime and had some good original ideas.

Actually, with Nunnally "gone", Lulu no longer need an army. He only has to find out the truth about his mother's death, and that doesn't require Japan to be freed. The only people he will help now are the Chinese and the Indians.

...And I'm trying to figure out right now what demographic would fantasize about that kind of wacky dialogue. The overworked animators perhaps? The Geass otaku living in their rooms? Lonely Pizza Hut executives?

Bloodless?

Currently Suzaku is being sent to Europe to help kill Europeans there, as a part of his duties in expanding and enslaving other nations. How is that suppose to be a bloodless campaign?

This was stated in the Sound Episodes, you're not just feeling it. Lelouch actually met C.C. during his earlier life in Japan. It was rainy night where he was searching for a lost Nunnally, and he could barely see her face, but C.C. basically said she had been asked to watch over him.

Linkage or IT NEVER HAPPENED

But seriously, while I'm certainly not denying that the writers could push Karen in that direction (I'd been hoping the same for much of Season 1 myself, particularly if it helped keep her from doing an Athrun and jumping on the Suzaku bandwagon), most of the evidence of a romantic "relationship" consists of stuff like her getting erabarrassed while naked/in a bunny suit (good lord, what's wrong with her?) or moments where she relaxes while feeling that Zero is trusting her.

That last part is understandable enough:
Together they're going to achieve something she's been dreaming of for years.
She's one of the original Black Knights.
She's Zero's most valuable military asset.
She's now one of the only people in the world who's in on Zero's big secret (his identity).
She was instrumental in returning him to action so that the rebellion can continue.

It's not exactly surprising that she should feel a little closer to Lelouch than the others. Hence her reaction upon learning about the CC/Lelouch switch in this episode: resentment. She thought she'd earned a place in Zero's inner circle, but the inner circle still only includes two people: Lelouch and CC. She's still on the outside looking in, even with all she knows and after all she's done.

Or she's just mad because CC's getting ahead of her in the race to jump Lelouch's bone first. But there'd better be some actual development in that direction first, because "ZOMG SHE FITS GENERIC ANIMU CHARACTER ARCHETYPE #375, THIS IS SO OBVIOUSLY A SIGN OF WUUUUUUUUV" isn't good enough.

Uh, most people would say that's a good thing.

On a sidenote, Yu Yu Hakusho was the same way, and that's one of the reasons I liked the series so much. Younger Toguro is still one of my favorite villains of all time.

To be completely random...

Among others.

But this one is my favorite =)

Edit: Scratch that.
