Nunally: "Good God, father just destroyed half of Area 11!"
Suzaku: "...Maybe it blew up on it's own"
Nunally: "We can't take that chance"
Suzaku: "You always say that! I want to take a chance!!"

I'm referring to this post. That some random blogger made such a statement isn't really all that useful to discussion.

I watched the episode but now I'm a little confused.

This might just be a result of the translation I saw, but when Lelouch is near the throne at the end of the episode, after announcing himself the new emperor, what-his-name [plain looking royal who's name escapes me. Odysseus I think?] states "When we found Nunally I thought maybe, just maybe-"? Does this mean that Nunally is in fact alive?

Anyways, not a bad episode, just a little wacky. I want to expecially mention how fantastic the scene where Lelouch wished for a tomorrow was. For all the strange aspects of Code Geass, those few moments were spectacular- gaining a geass in his other eye, screaming, crying, etc. That "BEGONE" was fabulous, and totally snapped me back to attention after laughing at the emperors ridiculous rocket blast across the screen XD.
Evil or not, Marianne's idea of a perfect world definitely goes beyond twisted. I think they both have a point about the impact of lies, but Lelouch at least as a grasp on reality more so than the rest of his family.

V.V. hiding the machine gun under his cloak and then gunning down Marianne was probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

I also found it odd that right after returning from the world of C, Suzaku makes a comment about getting revenge on Lelouch for Euphie and comments on the fact that he is her enemy. Just moments ago he had attempt to protect him from his father.
NowThen all of the sudden it changes over to a month later. I want to know what happened in that month!! The last thing we see of Suzaku before becoming Lulu's knight is him growling at Lelouch. It's like one extreme to another. Plus, CC looks really melancholy about something during the last moments of the episode.

I don't know it only seemed like one meraber had sour grapes over lelouch ditching them. The rest are either sheeple or willing to overlook it since he seems to be their only real hope of freeing japan. Anyway while I enjoyed the episode I really wish the plot would get moving already. So far Lelouch has done nothing but waste time and resources. Next ep I think is lelouch going to launch anouther attempt at retaking nunnally.

The one thing which puts this into question is that Lelouch didn't know who Kallen was when he saw her in the bunny costume and needed his memories restored from CC.

So that would mean that the Emperor would have given different memories to everyone at Ashford Academy regarding Kallen except Lelouch which would be a little odd and could lead to questions if he was like "Who is Kallen?" when everyone else remerabered her being on the Student Council.

Of course Lelouch himself did something similar last season when he erased himself from Shirley's memories and was able to play it off when she would respond strangely to others because of no longer remerabering him.

So I suppose it is possible Lloyd used his status to put a word in and not have Milly given the same new memories and she is now part of some plan to remain at the Academy and is why she really failed and was left behind.

I still think somewhere in Lelouch's mind he wants to make himself the common enemy so he doesn't drag the entire world down with him. I think everything he's trying to do is for the sake of the people, even if we see it differently than the Black Knights perspective. They hated Brittiana for so long yet just as easily were able to join forces with the man who had originally been somewhat in charge. It's not like they didn't know Schneizel was apart of the royal family, or controlling alot of the country.

In the finale, Cornelia will over turn Britannia's harsh skirts policy and finally allow other women to wear trousers. Modesty prevails!

Technical technical technical....
I know it wasn't purposely put out there but I mean... its the same thing really. It was accidentally 'leaked' to the mass online community which wasn't supposed to happen- it still made it's way around the internet.

You should be pleased then because Helen has apparently wrote a paper on the subject, I believe it will be published in a book in the same vain as Mechademia.

You can hear her talk about it here

I believe you missed the sound effect once he goes off-screen and trips and sturables violently down the stairs making painful exclamations.

But yeah I'm surprised too. Maybe he thinks he neeRAB to be a Char given that he's supposed to be thought of as dead.
