Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Fanservice: its over 9,000!

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Sam:

A simple image google can find you doujin of Lelouch X Rolo (or any pairing) so they are out there. And I do mean full fledge doujins and not just fan art.

Geass laptops.

PHW: "Hello, customer service? I ordered the Suzaku model and you forgot to install the porn folder....No, I do not want a CC one instead!!"

I don't consider fanart found on google anything but crap and nothing worth noting. Basically. When I mean doujini and yaoi I literally mean published manga by talented professional yaoi mangaka's.
Hence, I have not yet found a doujin with that pairing.

Exactly. While it's easy to hate Rolo for what he's done, taking a closer look at the circumstances it may appear more understandable. I don't like that he killed Shirley just as much as the next guy, but in his eyes it was him protecting the person he is most loyal too. Rolo's way of thinking is so unlike the rest, because his rational is irrational to everybody else. He doesn't realize that killing her is wrong, expecially after Lulu praised him for it even if he didn't mean it. By no means am I saying that what he did was correct however,- I'm just agreeing with Lelouch over the fact that it never occurred to Rolo that killing Shirley was a very bad thing.

Or he could just be a freaking nut case and want to kill everybody and keep Lelouch to himself.[like what rubberchicken said]
Although I think it's more of the first explanation than the second, since he's already shown signs that his loyalty to lelouch has warped his brain.

The worst I can think of Lelouch doing to Ougi was not caring about him after he'd been shot. In general, Lelouch was always respectful of him and it's been Diethard who pushed his buttons. So, what, Ougi cares more about a woman who shot him in the gut as she declared the idea of them being togethor to be disgusting?

Really, I can't help but feel that this isn't quite the 'web of lies falling apart' aspect that the story says it is and more just bad stuff happening week after week because it makes for a more dramatic story.

All these chains makes me wonder if some of the animation staff's daughters had a field day whenever they made the ending around "Bring-your-daughter-to-work" day.

Well I'm sorry if my praise offended you, but my point was that it's a good enough anime that it should be cherished as much as possible before it's gone.

Alright, finally watched the episode. Gotta say, I'm (still) finding all the Suzaku hate over this ridiculous. Suzaku had every right to ask what he did and Lelouch answered with half-truths and lies... which Suzaku knew. And still, he was willing to side with him anyway. And of course, Lelouch jumps to the wrong conclusion when things go wrong. I can understand that it was the logical conclusion--at first--but Lelouch is smart. Suzaku's WTF reaction should have been something of a clue. And when Suzaku called out to him as he was fleeing, my heart about broke for him. He sounded so desperate.

Seeing Lelouch able to confront Schneizel, even for a short period of time, was pretty awesome, though. Any of the arabiguous vibes Schneizel had been giving off have now completely disappeared.

Guildford thinking Lelouch is Cornelia is definitely weird. I'm guessing he sees the real Cornelia at some point to break the Geass.

Luciano is such a sleaze. Opening the cockpit and taunting the guy before drilling him? Disgusting. And he wanted to go to Tokyo to destroy stuff *facepalm*

The short moment with Gino and Kallen was sweet too. The scrapbook of Suzaku's was

I don't know, he came off as very suspicious to me. I didn't get the vibe of nice-guy Suzaku, I got the vibe of "you're a bastard and I'm delivering you to the Emperor" Suzaku.

I think if they'd aimed squarely for an older audience they could have done it. But with them aiming it at the audience they did, a big part of the draw for the domestic fans was the love triangles and how Lelouch juggles a teenage social life alongside his crusade.

Oh, I don't HAVE an argument to kill.

I am just saying any suggestion of Britannia being a reference to any real nation, would instantly bring up:
a. hostile replies from people with links to said nation
and
b. hostile comments from people who take the comment seriously and thus believe the director is a racist SOB who should be dragged out and shot for insulting his country.

Either way, the topic is derailed and any decent moral message in the show would be drowned out by people swearing at both Sunrise and each other.

Unless you have decent proof that Brittania IS a direct reference to a real world country? I do warn that making such a statement would not do anyone any good, no matter how strongly you might believe it. Regardless of what you say, someone somewhere is going to be offended.

Hence the unwillingness of me trying to link Brittannia to a real current country; no good can come of it. And I certainly wasn't trying to argue about anything at all.

Neither does Code Geass. Note that Code Geass Japan's greatest ally is a foreigner, and its greatest enemy is a Japanese.

ahhh
I do NOT favor that foreshadowing, if it's any.

way to go Kallen!! I just...can't stop watching the gif. Makes me lol

Next week is what I'm really waiting for.

All I think when I see Geass now is "Jump the shark" .. I swear. So much has happened in this series now, I want to stop watching, but I can't. It's like a car wreck. It's so bad, but you can't bare to look away. I mean, the series isn't BAD as some out there, but if I hadn't put so much time into watching the series, I'd most definitely stop. :/

Wow. I love this song, so much, so freaking much. The OP was fantastic, didn't like the ED song, nice artwork though. More on when I actually watch the episode...but...an interesting moment in the OP.

Geass Upgrade for Lelouch?

Then I have to question whether or not you actually watch the show :P!

I thought it was obvious that he would lead the betrayal against Lelouch. He lied to Ougi from the start, and that lie cost him his army.
