Note: If you really need superb phone with touchscreen, keyboard and tilted display, then buy HTC Touch Pro2 powered by Windows Mobile!

1). Contacts=>Options=>SIM Contacts=>SIM Directory=>Select All=>Copy to Contacts.

2). I'm unsure if the official WLM client runs on S60v5, but I have a copy on my E71 and it works very nicely, with avatar support.

Hey, I could either complain about being shafted all the time or just take it, I already knew what I was getting into buying NAM Nokias. Bah, I'm such a sucker. :(

Hi Prom1

I really wouldn't get your hopes up as i took part in the Web cast for the N97 when it was announced and asked the specific question of if the N97 would be using a OMAP Chip and the answer was a resounding NO. It is using a highly tweaked Arm processor was all i could get out of them in an answer. I couldn't even get conformation of any devices coming soon that would use the OMAP 3 series processor.

@all

As i have said before in MO the OMAP3 powered devices are long overdue but now we have seen the Palm Pre sporting one i can not believe that it will be long and feel sure in 2009 we will see plenty of devices powered by this processor. I also have the same feeling about Symbian 9.5 in that it should of been with us by now i don't know but just maybe the forming of the Symbian foundation has halted pre Foundation development and once the Foundation launches we are all in for a big surprise as instead of playing catch up the new OS surpasses most of our expectations and makes new headway and achieves new standards leaving the others in it's wake. I can but dream i suppose.

I'm on there now if anyone wants me to check anything?
Just running the "software update" app and its found -
Nokia Messaging 10.0
N-Gage v1.2
Ovi Store 1.5
Installing them now :)

Edit: Forgot to mention that I could even log in to OVI Store using my Nokia Account

E90 was, at one point 1200 CAD.

I can see this guy to start off around that price and slowly drop. However, Nokia has to be stupid to have a high price given the current economic status around the world.

Expansys on average is 'bit' over priced, so I dont know how much it'll drop when it's out.

The one I used was slightly better than the 5800XM, but I could still tell that it was a resistive screen. It still has that soft plastic feel like a lot of resistive screens do. As compared to the iPhone, the capacitive on the iPhone is still the most sensitive, but you can get much better accuracy with a stylus on the N97.

With all due respect to the girls in this board (to whom I'd politely suggest stop reading right now!), I got a killer idea for a successful cellphone blog. It could be called phonerack.com (or something to that effect) and it would have reviews of phones presented by hot chicks in bikinis. I guarantee that it would get tons of hits a day.

Don't worry I'm not giving credit to the N97 for that. The 128MB Ram is still my biggest concern about the N97. The processor isn't a concern since I've seen the hands on vids.

Yup, i consider the keyboard an advantage. The camera is really miles ahead of the iPhone's (the N97 pushes 5MP to the limit , or so i believe...iphone doesn't even have flash...goodbye to low-light environment pictures...)
I couldn't care less for the SD slot. 32GB is enough for me.
To me it eats the iPhone because I consider the N97 a full-fledged cellphone (i'm talking about true cellphones capabilities here:sms, mms, call quality...), a music player and a camera...
The iPhone is an okay phone...(the 3GS finally has MMS, BUT you need your carrier to be okay with it...come one....i believe you still can't copy your sim contacts into the iPhone memory unless u buy an app, or go through ur computer right?...something as basic as switching your numbers to another phone is a PITA with the phone...my point is the iphone lacks those little convenient BASIC things in a cellphone...but then adds a LOTS of bells and whistles , espexially with their App Store). So, as i was saying the iPhone is an okay phone, and an excellent music player.

Anyway, this isn't an iPhone thread, i'm tired of comparing both phones. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.I have mine, I'll stick with it until Apple proves me wrong or the N97 doesn't live up to my hopes. I'm done talking about that phone.

PS: Now I understand how sr was able to write those essays... :hehehe:
