*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

I believe iPhone and Android both lack any real usefulness in Bluetooth? AFAIK only Nokia's have been letting users use bluetooth however they want. My sister's G1 does not have OBEX profile. Pretty sure it can't stream music over bluetooth, but I could be wrong.

So you are basically hacking down 2 "E" series devices because they don't offer strong multimedia functions (N Series).. The E series phones are built for for business use and are great at that function.

You even agree that they arn't N series devices, but, you claim they "fail".

I meant right side of the keyboard. If the spacebar wasn't oriented with the right side I'm sure it'd be next to the M key like it should be.

There's only so much you can do with three rows after all..

Okay, Dogmann, we get it. You've made your point over and over again. I think you need to face the truth that there are many of us who are okay with the N97's shortcomings and are looking forward to the device. It seems to upset you when you see a group of people anticipating a device you don't like. And you resort to calling anyone who disagrees with you fanboys. You did the same thing on the Xperia forums on Esato for several months, telling everyone there that the Xperia wasn't going to be their "messiah" and that they were all Sony fanboys. Mark, make your point, then move on. If you were getting an N97 I could see an invested interest in this forum, but since you've written off Nokia and s60 I fail to see why you are here.

Also, as long as the N97 performs as well as my year old N95 and three month old 5800 then i'll be perfectly happy. I think a lot of the ram complaint come from people who want to run a million unnecessary apps all at once. One of the complaints I saw o another forum was that the 5800 crashes when running web, sports tracker, an IM client and music all at once. The most I ever run at once is Sports Tracker, email and music and never had either of those phones crash. Normal users are sensible about how many apps they run at once. If not, I can understand not wanting a N97. But let those of us who are content be content. We've heard all the processor, GPU, and ram complaints ad nauseum.

Plus the 32gb of memory and the 5mp camera and im sure the processor will be faster(at least i hope) plus the materials used, Keep in mind its priced no higher than a 3g iphone locked to at&t with no commitment 599/699 respectively. :buddies:
