*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

I dunno man, the Engadget unboxing mentions some "last-minute improvements to keyboard feel -- and we can confirm that it feels pretty usable." I'm hoping you guys were toying around with pre-production units and Nokia was just making a stupid decision to drive customers away by keeping those pre-production units on display.
 
I think I'll get more usage out of Active Standby. It'll have all my most used info on their anyway. Having three separate screens to customize with widgets is a bit much when the menu and photo contacts is just a slide of the finger in either direction.

Are there any IM clients for S60v5 besides Nimbuzz?
 
ok thanks...... im just not familiar with Sybian OS as all my other smartphones were windows based . What are the differences between s60vs5 and s60v3 fp2 ? . thanks...... ETA :befuddled
 
FWIW (and it's probably worth very little), my preorder N97 via nokiausa.com still lists as "backordered", but the free BH-703 headset is now "in progress". Again, probably doesn't mean anything, but any little change on my order page change sends tingles... :)
 
FYI... You're not charged anything until the phone shipped. So if you change your mind 2-3 weeks later, you paid nothing and you just need to tell Nokia you don't want it.

$600 is my max, but since you're getting that $90 bluetooth headset, it's around there - gonna sell that thing.
