*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

I'm not sure about N97, but my iPhone has an Exim SPUC right now and it covers the sensor, only has holes for earpiece and home button, and it's working fine. It has a very precise cut but it's kind of fingerprint and oil magnet, maybe I'll get one of these if there's no more decent options.
 
Look at my WRT Info thread in the Developers sub-forum. There are links to several sample apps Nokia has endorsed as sample code, including AccuWeather, Stew (Twitter client), and some others. There is also a widget written by a HOFO member (Micky) to setup PixelPipe as a conduit for Share Online. I've also written a Stitch Counter (for knitting) but it's not production-ready yet, as it doesn't save the current state. I hope to have some time to finish it up next week.

Mosh also had a few, but I think Mosh is no more. All you had to do was search for 'widget.' Most of them sucked but a few were OK.

In other news, we may be going to the Chicago flagship tomorrow and if we get to play with the N97 we will be sure to post our thoughts (and maybe some pics and/or video).
 
Just checked the tracking for my N97 that was supposed to be here tomorrow and its on the fedex vehicle for delivery. I'll report back once its actually here. Looks like Im not going anywhere now.
 
I can do the web browing using 1 hand other than the time to type which I've set to use the landscape keyboard.

The problem about clicking a tiny links seems related to irreponsive of the UI, which can be becasue the phone is processing the page, or it's hard to pinpoint the exact point with a finger that's where the stylus is supposed to use for.

However, that can be solved by double tap on the screen to zoom in. I don't see why and how 2 hands can do that better? The little tactile/vibration helps to know the link is clicked.

iPhone requires 2 fingers to zoom in and out (so you need another hand to hold phone) which I think that makes people think it's necessary to use 2 hands.
 
What's always bugged me about the N770/800/810 is the GPS situation. You need to buy an expensive third-party program for the tablet, but GPS is available and FREE on some basic mobile phones. Just sticks in my craw a bit.
