*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

^No, the bar indicators are all that you have and, really, all that you need. Although I must admit that having a percentage to look at is nice and all, it really isn't any more accurate than the bar method that Nokia uses. They are both equal.

You can bypass the cert thing on S60, but it's better to just install the cert (you can, I had to...our CA's certs didn't come with WinMobile or S60 either). You want to save the CA's certificate .cer file in DER encoded X.509 format, transfer it to the S60 device, and then just open it in file manager and it'll import it fine. WinMobile prefers Base64 encoded .cer files.

I don't think the topic of price came out here, but for sure it has to be less than E90 and more than E61i.
A price of USD 600 would be fair to assume.

It is not a thought for me either, but I think the competition is good for both Nokia and RIM. In the end the iPhone will give us all better products at cheaper prices.

im running v110.07.127

I havent had any problems with V110, once conversations messed up on me, but may have just been the program, a soft reset and it was fine. Other than that ive had no problems.

what you call screen saver that shows the time is no longer available with the S60 that uses newer CPU... this is a feature of the new CPU, it is a power saving mode, the whole screen goes blank... this is present with the N78, even 6120 is doing this and expect N96 to have the same...

Hey guys! i just checked expansys.ca and they said that the EU version is ready to ship, and they take preorders for the NAM version for 484 CAD inc taxes!
SWEEEEEEETTTTTTT

What's all the big fuss with BB connect? I use MFE or Roadsync with S60 phones and the email gets there just as fast if you set sync on push....I guess the only thing is that you need to sign up for a Exchange account.

I've tried BBC, MFE, and Roadsync and they all work exactly the same...correct me if I'm wrong.
