So true...I'm looking at my E51 right now and saying to myself "damn only if it had a qwerty keyboard" I'm really loving the look, feel, and new keys on my E51, so I'm waiting for the E71 as well.

Nokia used to have reps come out to stores, not sure if they still do...but I'd be happy to contract myself out for free phones!

I dont ever recall Moto making a Symbian device. Most if not all of their smartphones are WM based, and didnt they have a Linux based device though?

Not to throw more gas on this fire, but didnt anyone see BGR report of the touchscreen BB Thunder? Supposedly going to be a VZW exclusive to compete head to head with ATT and the iphone.

Me too...I find the locking time for GPS on phones to be entirely slow. They tell you one needs to stand in one spot to get a lock. I found I needed to stand for like 10min before any lock. The Google Maps using the cell info is much better.....it's not as accurate, but it's a hell of a lot faster.

Probably not. They have HTC devices that have wifi. But I would never buy it from Rogers. I hate branded phones.

I wont be surprised but if I do pick up a phone Rogers decides to carry, it'll not only loose exclusivity (Since they are the only major GSM player and can flood the market with whatever device they carry), but it's value will get flushed down, it'll be crippled, with Rogers Garbage on it.

I'm a little scared abt my BB 8320. Rogers is testing UMA right now, and that's the 1st device I can think of that Rogers will pick up for UMA.

Was the Sept date mentioned in the video? I dont have 20 min right now to watch the whole thing, but was surprised when jontymisra said Sept.

The E71 looks very nice now, but will it be as attractive in 3-4 months when every other mfg has time to release new devices?

I guess only time will tell.

eek...the sample photos are not impressive at all. Hopefully this isn't from a production unit.
