As I mentioned last week, got mine from Bell World in Place D'Orleans in Ottawa, (not a big help unless you live in Ottawa sorry). $69 + Tax.

My father had tried to buy one, but because he is already a BEV client he was not allowed. Told me about the setup so I went in to buy one.

The sales guy did not know what I was talking about and tried to sell me a much more $$$ unit, left the store called my father and he told me where there were. Does not help all the boxes look the same :)

Went back the store, found the 3220 and asked sales about the unit. "Oh I did not know we had these in, they must be brand new." Right.

I think that store had at least 5-6 models in stock.

Over all it meets my needs. Perfect for a small house with only 2 people. I'd like a PVR, but that can come later. I might try and find a 2nd UHF remote so I can do a cheap PIP thing.

It's a shame they don't sell them here, but I'm not complaining since I got mine on ebay for $12US plus shipping and it was brand new in the box!

They are a must for newer receivers, but won't work as is with older ones like the 2700.

I had the same experience when I went to buy a second one for myself :( Bell will not budge on selling this unit with a kit to an existing customer. Oh well, in the end it worked out for me cause now I have a 9200. This combination works great for my family of 4. However, I can't decide what to do with my 6100 now.

My unit has been sick again for the last couple of days, anyway this morning it seems to be well after taking the v107 pill.

I sure hope that it was the right medicine!;)

What are you talking man! You better hope you don't meet the 2 Beavers because they are 2 puppets on the new ExpressVu TV ad's. :D

If these 2 beavers do materialize in your life you will need more help them any Bell Tech can offer.

This is what I was trying to tell you when you talk this way no one wants to help you. all you had to do was read the post but no, you want someone to baby you.
I have looked at your other posts and I think one of them is not negitive, but the rest well...... trying to look at the good side is not one of your better trates.
I suppose I should apolize if you have taken something I said badly, but I won't, anyone who wants to threaten someone over two puppets, has more problems than getting the V107 download.

My 3200 tries to download the 104 update..... But it seems to hang when it gets to the point where the download screens bar is all green. At this point it does nothing. I left it alone over night and still it was just sitting there telling me not to touch it. This receiver really is a work of art! :D

Does anyone here truly have a correctly functioning 3200?

Mine didn't work right from the get go and I've had it replaced by Bell and I still have the same problems.

It freezes at least 3 or 4 times a week. That's a good week.

Did DISH scrap their equivalent or did they have no problems?

Good idea, horrible implementation.

The 103 update has been great for me

No crashes for over a week

I have the guide updates happening at 3AM each morning, and I have caller ID going - both reliably crashed the 3200 prior to the update

However I notice a problem with searches and themes
Search doesnt seem to work anymore (U can access the page, but nothing is found)
Have never bothered much with themes, but these also seem to be working poorly

I have V104 and the only thing it seemed to do was screw up the guide. It doesn't update itself so I manually have to do it once in a while.

Maybe the next update will actually fix something.

I got the 103 and agree there is some improvement in that I'm not rebooting every time I want to watch tv... now it's only every few days... very frustrating still to have purchased something that doesn't really work.... do I have to call bell for the software update each time or is there a channel I can go to to get it sent automatically? I am tired of listening to their upcoming VU specials while waiting on hold for 1/2 hour!

Does the 3200 receiver count/considered as 1 receiver or 2 on your Expressvu account? I know 6 is the maximun allowed, but would a 3200 count for 1 or 2?
thanks

I seem to remember it needed both inputs. Why wouldn't you have done this anyway considering that the 3200 is a dual-tuner receiver?

I also know that you need a phone line connected to activate it.

I installed mine on my own and got a signal strength of 81. The more I read on these forums the more I see that most professional installers seem to be incompetent or probably just want to get the hell out of there.
