[NEWS] R.I.P. Kids WB 1995-2008, Kids'WB.com Emerges April 2008

And the bad reflection on Saturday morning broadcast TV as a whole is -- that 0.8 won the week. ABC Kids was a hair behind with a 0.8 rating but a 3 share.

And, believe it or not, Tom & Jerry Tales -- at 1.4 -- won the week! None of the ABC live shows (Raven, Suite Life, Hannah) got higher than a 1.0.

No 4kids will control both blocks for at least 1 year.

Still going to CW I guess but we'll have to see.

Loonatics? Dunno.

No, absolutely not. PUSA isn't going to let 4kids have Pokemon back.

If they at least decided to keep their strongest shows going (SatAm line up/ Wrestling), I wouldn't complain. But other than Gossip Girls and Beauty and the Geek volume 5643, do they even have anything? We've lost quite a bit here, and nothing good came out of it. UPN shoulda sold it's shows to WB and shut the heck up. CBS's badgering of WB to lose it's kid's line up was the first in a long line of horrible decisions.

So Warners wants to get out of cartoons for good, except for DC movies just because the market's soft right now, due to some hackneyed generic sitcoms on the Disney Channel? SUCK IT UP! Animation is hitting a lull because these companies are letting it.

Hey, it's not a load of crap (well, ever since The Amblin Entertainment/WB Animation toons left KWB, but still more tolerable than ABC Kids and such). If you said 4Kids, I would've agree with you.

Well said. No one can fault 4Kids when it was the higher ups at WB who decided to sell the block. Halfway decent Saturday morning cartoon blocks are practically dead, so I for one think it's great that 4Kids is keeping Saturday mornings alive with both their 4Kids TV block and whatever becomes of their new acquisition.

Legion and Spiderman might go to Cartoon Network. It would be odd to see 4kids air those shows since they don't produce them.

The Batman was probably going to get cancelled this year anyway, its the 5th season and I doubt it was going to be renewed.

Yeah.,.. I guess you'd rather see a hundred informercials for Yoga Booty ballet and local car dealerships, right? Other than the fact they don't have a strong line up like they did when it first premired, it always has at least one strong, watchable show per season.

Hey, greedy, incompetant, probably only got the job by being related to someone, who don't know what the hell they're doing is what the American economy is all about. Give up, take your big bag of cash, and let everyone else become jobless. Just as long as you can find a way to legally embezzle money, right?

Heh, yeah, if 4Kids wasn't around, we'd probably have Saturday morning infomercials rather than Saturday morning cartoons come this fall.

What will happen to Tom and Jerry Tales and World of Quest then? I hope they aren't canceled their my favorite shows on Kids WB right now.

And Fox would have made a Saturday morning national news cast years ago. i still predict they will, come September of next year. I cannot even begin to restate how sad the cartoon markets are right now. I hate these higher ups so much. I really do.
