Most emotional ending to a film you've seen?

Any film thats slightly emotional at the end and I'm getting welled up.

The Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
The Green Mile

I havn't seen The Champ or Who will Love My Children, but according to reports, I don't think I want to, I'd never stop crying.

Paddy :D

Edward ScissorhanRAB.:( The ending was very sad, when he is left to live in his mansion - all alone, with no love or frienRAB.  Those people were so horrible to him

I would agree with all of those as I recall getting teary eyed watching them all.....especially The Notebook. It was a wonderfully moving film.

I would also like to mention The Killing FielRAB and Hotel Rwanda. I think it was the utter futility and despair in these two that made me feel sad in a depressed sort of way. :(

I have so many -

Boys Don't Cry
Monster
Stand By Me

Also love a happy ending, which also sometimes reduces me to tears! Garden State's ending is just lovely.

Phantom of the Opera...the one with Gerard Butler!
Cry my eyes out every time!!!

OOooh, and did anyone happen to catch the Illistrated Mum on TV a few years back? I recorded it off the TV and i sob so much at the end!

I'd have to agree with Gorillas in the Mist, but its more the bit with Digit that upsets me. I thought it was a brilliant movie so I bought it and haven't been abe to pluck up the courage to watch it again!

for me its:

Monster: I know the real woman was a killer but charlize theron made a fantastic performance and i felt sorry for the chracter/real person/killer it was when she shouted ' Sending a raped woman to death' and it di get me a bit as the men well most of them she did kill did rape her

The Magdeline Sisters: Irish film watched at my nans and the ending was so sad because the woman who went into the mental asylum dies in real life and she was sweet i had a tear in my eye for that
