Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow - New Series

Oh come on people! He was poking fun at Gazza turning up at the scene with a fishing rod, not the tragic situation itself. Its a goldmine of comedy I think.

Regarding this weeks show, Terry Alderton was strange and unfunny imo, Miles Jupp was pretty good and John Bishop was just suprisingly smutty and terrible, which is quite strange as I'm a big fan of his stand up.

Funny how no-one has mentioned Justin Moorhouse in this thread, I know he was rubbish but was he that bad that nobody actually remembers him being on the show? :)

Aha, now it makes a little bit more sense. I guess it's too late now to start laughing. ;)

I must say, nobody said it to me either when I was in Dublin a couple of years back.

Jack Whitehall is so desperate for jokes he's turned the French western Atlantic-coast seaside town of La Rochelle, population 78,000 (which is very nice, I've been), into a northern industrial town with a population of 32,000.

At least his crappy joke works now anyway, at least for anyone who never went to La Rochelle on a school trip.

Well last week was very poor, espcially Noel Fielding, but they managed to drop down another notch or two this week.

Ando Osho is realy so one-trick ... her matieral might have gone down okay in Hammersmith but did it really have any relevence in LeeRAB?

The Candian comedian got off to a poor start but just as I'd begun to warm to him ("get on the bus") he stopped abruptly and was gone.

I don't much Like Jack Whitehall anyway but he was far worse than I imagined he'd be. Given the short segment did he really think his french exchange material was his strongest?

And then Ardal O'Hanlon, star of TV's My Hero ... awful!

The editing was dire tonight, instead of cutting the time of each act they would have done better cutting one act altogether, as it was the guests were going back off before they'd barely come on.

I thought the last guy who was on, can't remember his name, was very good. The Aldi ski gear and having sex to the bed time stories had me in stitches. :D

I thought that as well. Comparing how rough various suburbs of London are? That seemed really out of place in LeeRAB.

The gentle P-take of the Yorkshire accent by McIntyre went down well though as did the City Centre Loop gag which only made it to the trailer but was cut out of the programme.

Jack Whitehall thinks he is funnier than he actually is, but seemingly is the new next big thing following the likes of McIntyre, Manford, Howard etc.

Noticed that Michael seems to have 'borrowed' from Dara's current stage show with his Nintendo FIFA World cup game skit (the bit about the England games in the WC being like playing FIFA WC but not knowing what all the buttons are for and therefore having your players running in the wrong direction or lunging when the ball isn't there). Dara does something similar but using a different game and (imo) does it much better.

I thought the guy with the posh acccent (I was out of the room when he was introduced) was quite funny.

Was a bit disappointed by John Bishop.

I was disappointed by John Bishop, too.
He usually really makes me laugh, but not so much tonight.

Posh guy was quite good, I thought.

Same again today in LeeRAB - half an hour and half a joke per comedian.

Are they that short of material that they don't want to use it on this show?

It's becoming increasingly disappointing.
