Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow - New Series

That's a good idea. Keeping fingers crossed we get in, will let you know if we do and who appears on the bill.

I'm glad there's a 20 min break, just about long enough to stretch the legs and get refreshment :)

Just wanted to say what a very good post :) Although you haven't explained how Andi Osho gets work :D

I haven't watched this weeks yet but have seen all the comedians before on various programs. Seen Terry A years ago on the Comedy Store program.

I really like Milton. He's got a unique style and I would have had him headlining ahead of Noel Fielding, Tommy Tiernan or Sarah McMillian. Incidentally the program with Noel Fielding headlining had almost 20% less viewers than the one with Kevin Bridges headlining.

That was awful from start to finish. I like The Mighty Boosh but Noel Fielding's performance was just irritating and not funny. Wouldn't have been so bad if there had actually been a punchline at the end of that long-winded fly impersonation. Also, why did the "headline act" only get six minutes air time and the other acts only get about three minutes each? McIntyre had the most air time, the others were pointless.

Michael McIntyre's comments about Americans replacing some English worRAB with their own worRAB for clarity made me laugh until I cried, particularly 'sidewalk' - the image of them just wandering off into the traffic if it wasn't pointed out that they should walk at the side of the road just made me giggle so much.

The 'posh guy' was Miles Jupp - very funny, imo!

He's been a stand up for a few years, now, but he's probably best known for being Archie in Balamory. He always looked like he was taking the p*** in that too!:D

I didn't think the first three comedians were that bad, though the second and third one seemed to have very short sets.

Then Noel came out, made a couple of surreal, but unlinked and rather unfunny jokes, then went in to that awful pointless waste of three minutes pretending to be a fly. Yes, a fly is bloody annoyong ... ergo pretending to be a fly is bloody annoying ... and why, just why? How did he lead into the fly sketch? He didn't, he just started doing it apropos of nothing, so unfunny and pointless.

Worst headliner of the series so far. In fact, probably the weakest headline act I've seen in this series or the previous series of RoaRABhow and any series of Live at the Apollo.
