Kids probably been playing all over that land for many years. Probably fishes off the damn bridge for all I know (haven't read the article). Maybe they threw rocks because they were being harassed one day...not knowing he would be killed for crossing a fucking bridge.

I don't. Mexico doesn't give a shit about their "poor citizens", if they did, maybe they'd do something about them fleeing the country.

The fact is, their own government wrote them off and actually assists them in fleeing Mexico ... it's less money and services THEY have to provide to their poor.

smuggling has nothing to do with getting shot to death for picking up a pebble. Murder is the case. Why? Because he didn't need to shoot that kid as explained earlier.
 
It still bothers me. Of course Vermin is fine with it; he was fine with it before he knew shit about it, but you seem less biased.

Now here's what I'm thinking: you don't see a lot of adults throwing shit around there so this is probably a juvenile situation. Bikes are probably best for catching fast kids. He dropped the one kid at gunpoint then shot another. Is that the purpose of bike patrol? And pointing a gun as a threat like in the old west or the movies is negligence IMO. You never point your gun at something you don't intend to destroy. He destroyed that kid who will now never "rethink his hobbies".

This could be a bigger problem than I thought : cops drawing guns to manipulate anyone--innocent citizen or weed smoking mexican kid--is a bad idea unless they intend to be judge jury and executioner in a split second.

It means that the article in the first post, that which originated this discussion, does not contain the information you are now claiming everyone who disagrees with you is 'dropping'.

It does not contain a criminal history on said kid. It does not contain many details at all. Yet that did little to prevent the usual 'stoopid kid got what he deserved' commentary, which I have been railing against, because it is inherently stupid, not to mention a dangerous precedent, to simply assume that because rocks were thrown the killing was justified.

This is and has been most of the thread. Anything else I can help explain?
 
The latest info brought to us by Desert Eagle: now we know drugs were not the issue; the killed-kid liked to cross the white line on the bridge and return, making him a smuggler with a record. The carefully prepared statement by spokeswoman Andrea Simmons does not seem concerned with the fact that it contradicts much of what was reported earlier. It is of course something that appears to cover their ass. Business as usual on the retarded border.
