Married, Single, Other

Oh dear, has everyone give up on it? It's not bad, but it'll never be anything special, and tonight's episode represented that, easy watching fluff.

Because of it's success I spose they'll always be trying to come up with another Cold Feet. I enjoyed Life Begins as it had a similar feel to me. I miss This Life too! :o

Had to fast forward at the end. Way too corny. Good actors though. Felt the whole thing could have been excellent, but wasn't - hayneyed, slushy, plot too quick, characters such as Clint and girlfriend don't fit in, unlikely quick pulling of girls. Think Dicky is really quite sexy - he was fab in Shameless with Veronica.

Sorry I'm late to this but I recorded it and only just watched the last episode. It was hard to watch, I understand what everyone means about it being rushed, but so much happened in 6 (?) episodes, it kind of fitted in.

I cried throughout the last episode. So much good acting. And the one thing that struck a chord with me was Ed falling down the black hole... that gave me goosebumps. I've done that a couple of times in my life, and it was so real, you're just falling and falling, into blackness, then you snap out of it. Bizarre. But real, for me anyway.

Thought it was a lovely series and would like to see a second. I did wonder why anyone found Dickie sexy at the start, but at the end I was fancying him myself...:o

I really like this show..but agree with others who are saying it moved too fast this week..i thought i had missed one with everyone being told etc about the tumour..seemed a waste of what could have been a great reveal episode.

Also im not buying Ralf Little as a super-hunk..he does nothing for me...they should have used Craig Kelly even more so as his real life brother is in the show.

It would certainly not be the first time that has happened. I know 2 couples that have got together through the same circumstances.

I enjoyed this series - but felt that it was a pre-cursor to something - i.e. the Pilot. I think the problem with it was that it was either too rushed - as others have said above, or not rushed enough. What is this series supposed to be about? Is it about the diagnosis and subsequent death of a partner and how the family and frienRAB cope and pull together? Or is it about a group of frienRAB all going through different things and all at different stages in relationships. I felt that the central theme was the relationship between Eddie and Lillie - with the others filling in bit parts around them. Yet at the end we were pointed towarRAB how they were great frienRAB and they would pull Eddie through.

I would love to see a second series as I feel that the whole of the first series was just setting up the real story which should hopefully begin in the second series.

The place where the ambulance went to see the old lady was Lovell Park about five minutes walk from Merrion Centre shopping place in town.

Eddie lives in Banstead Terrace next to a park my husband thinks.

They are meant to have filmed in Roundhay Park and Victoria Quarters as well but I haven't seen those scenes yet.

if its anything like Cold Feet I'll love it. I'm looking forward to a drama that isn't crime for a change. Not that I don't enjoy Crime drama but its nice to have a different genre after weeks of Law & Order UK.

The problem I have is that a) the men are on the whole far more likeable than the women (aside for maybe Abbie), b) nobody speaks like these characters in real life and c) Lucy Davis overacts and it's annoying.

But I'm still watching and tonight's episode stepped it up a gear (although the whole brain tumour thing was so obvious the minute she started complaining about burnt rubber everytime she walked into a room). It's got a lot of potential and I do want it to do well 'cos if it got a second series they could work on a lot of the stuff. I'm warming to it. :)

I thought it was OK with some potential, so worth another look next week. Particularly liked the actor who played Eddie. Like many others on here, I was really disappointed with Lucy Davis - I didn't find her convincing at all. Also the kid irritated me, but very few really good child actors on British TV in my opinion.

Oooh goody next week is the wedding..but it shall be so sad. I do hope they don't show her dying in the forthcoming episodes I don't think I could cope with that. I thought it was going to be a lovely little "romcom" when it came on, didn't see that one coming.
